The Great White Throne

It says in Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV) “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”. At the end of all ages is the Final Judgement of God, the judgement of the Great White Throne. This is not the Day of Judgement; the Day of Wrath or Day of the LORD happens at Jesus’ second coming. The Final Judgement is not necessarily a day of anger or wrath. It is a judicial judgement in the courts of God. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, they rejected a Son-Father relationship with God. By eating fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the good and evil fruit of this tree will become the basis of God’s judgement. That is why Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37 (KJV) “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned”. At the Final Judgement, everyone except the Sons of God will be required to give an account of the whole of their lives; how they ran in the “race of life” that God had given them. They did not know it at the time, but they will be judged with reference to their relationship with good and evil, blessing and curse. God gave them the witness or testimony of their conscience, the book or scroll of their life written upon their hearts. It is this scroll that will be opened at the Final Judgement. At the End of Days everyone except the Sons of God will be called to account before the Great White Throne, the judgement throne of God……..
