We began this book by wondering why and hopefully by looking at the Bible with an understanding of the ancient Hebrew culture of the Bible, some of our wonderings have been answered. Jesus said in Matthew 7:15-20 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruit you shall know them”. Why did Jesus say that? At the time of Jesus, it was the Pharisees, Scribes and Teachers of the law, the leaders of the church of the day, who sat in Moses seat, and to a limited extent administered both justice and religious governance within the local synagogue community. As we have already seen, the word tradition comes from the Latin traditionem meaning a handing down from former times. These religious leaders prided themselves on the orthodoxy of their religious oral hand-me-down tradition and refused to allow anyone to challenge the hypocrisy of their man-made spiritual supremacy within the local community, even Jesus. Jesus warned people that it is not what people say they believe that reveals whether they are a good or bad tree but the actual fruit of their lives; how they behave from the heart. Anyone can bear the natural fruit of the established religion of their tradition; sacraments, ceremonies, rituals, rites, confessions, incantations, spells, enchantments, theologies, creeds or indulgencies but if that is all they have they are false prophets in sheep’s clothing. Inwardly they are ravening wolves. Why? Because if they don’t have redeemed hearts then they have unredeemed fallen prideful hearts just like Cain the first-born over-all creation who murdered his brother. Only those who are in a Father-Son relationship with God can bear the supernatural fruit of the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood that dwells within their redeemed and heavenly hearts. They are sheep in sheep’s clothing, sheep of the Good Shepherd, sheep that share the eternal life of the Good Shepherd who laid this same life down for the sheep so that He, by his Holy Spirit could eternally dwell within their hearts. That is why Jesus said in John 15:7-10 “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love”. The word creed comes from the Latin credo meaning, I believe. What people are told they must confess by the church authorities as part of any kind of religious rite, ritual or ceremony is not only irrelevant, but it is a form of witchcraft. Why? Because the spirit of witchcraft is control and it is an attempt to force people into submitting to the authority of the controlling religious spirit that lurks within the darkened recesses of the annals of religious church history. According to Jesus, people behave what they really believe. It is how people behave from the heart that is the revelation of their sonship not a religious confessional creed; the fruit of their lives reveals who their true father really is. According to Jesus in Matthew 10:20, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father. According to the Athanasian Creed, one of the many controlling creeds of the church establishment, the Holy Spirit is not. Those who increasingly bear the fruit of love in every aspect of life are the Sons of God together with Jesus, because God is their Father who dwells within their heavenly hearts by his Holy Spirit and God is love. That is why Jesus said, to those that have, more will be given. Why is this important? Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:41-42 “for as one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead”. One day, everyone will rise from the dead, and the heart that people die with is the heart that they rise with. To those who die with redeemed and heavenly hearts more will be given; they will rise with heavenly glory filling their hearts forever. Those who do not will not despite what the church establishment teaches them to say they believe………….
