Fools Paradise

Adam was originally created in God’s own image, personality and reflection. God breathed into Adam’s heart the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of God’s fatherhood. Adam was the original Son of God. However, when Adam and Eve chose to reject the word of God and instead embrace the lies of Lucifer, the devil or father of lies, they gasped out of their hearts the eternal life’s breath of the paradise of God. They were no longer the supernatural Holy Spirit inspired Sons of God, and they no longer lived in paradise. They simply became living dust, living natural Satan inspired prideful fallen lives that worked or tilled the cursed ground of their fallen personalities and eventually they died. Because of his sin Adam bore his own image and to a greater or lesser extent the image of Lucifer or the serpent instead of the image of God. He bore the fruit of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life that came from the evil side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Following the Fall, things did not get off to a good start. It says in Genesis 4:1-8 “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain, Why are you wroth? and why is your countenance fallen? If thou do well, shall thou not be accepted? and if thou do not well, sin lies at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him”. Cain is the original son of man, the first-born marvellous me over all creation. In the fullness of time, both Cain and Abel brought an offering to God. Within ancient Hebrew culture, gifts and offerings had a specific purpose. Gifts were given because those who received a gift were obliged to respond in kind. Cain and Abel both brought an offering to God and so it is clear that they wanted God’s blessing. Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. Out of a relationship with God, Abel brought to God an offering of the firstborn of his flock. This would have required the shedding of the blood of the lamb. This pleased God and God accepted his offering. It is likely that God required an offering of blood from Cain, but Cain did not keep flocks. So, Cain brought a marvellous offering from the harvest of the ground cursed by sin and tilled by the sweat of Cain’s hard-working brow. As a slave of sin, Cain grasped equality with God and brought to God a marvellous and wonderful offering of what Cain felt was worthy in his own eyes. It is quite possible that what Cain offered was absolutely marvellous, but it was not what God required. Cain wanted a well done from God based upon the best self-efforts of his marvellous me but did not get one. God offered Cain the opportunity to humble himself and put things right, but Cain felt rejected and made a bitter root judgement against God. He was furious that his marvellous offering from a person as marvellous as me was not accepted. He had personalized his offering and felt rejected. In a fit of rage, rose up in offended pride. He couldn’t murder God and so in his bitterness against God, murdered his brother. Why? As we have already seen, in Hebrew, the name Satan or adversary means literally the snake that surrounds and devours life, or simply the murdering snake. That is why Jesus said in John 8:44 that the devil was a murderer from the beginning. Someone else was too. Murder is the shedding of innocent blood and is the devil’s mark, signature or calling card. According to John in 1 John 3:12, Cain was of the devil and therefore the seed or son of the serpent. When challenged by God, Cain refused to repent. In his incensed pride, he defended the indefensible, left the presence of Yehovah God and dwelt in bitterness in the land of restless wandering to the east of Eden. In the Bible, the first fruit was important because within the first fruit was seen the totality of the whole; if the first fruit was good, the whole harvest would be too. Cain was the original son of man, the first fruit or first-born over all Creation. Because of the Fall everyone that has ever been born except Jesus to a greater or lesser extent shares the original deceitful and desperately wicked pride-poisoned simply superior sinful nature of Cain that decides for itself what is right and wrong, good or evil and if provoked and apart from God’s grace has the same capacity to bear evil fruit. This is the bitter root of the problem. The heartfelt murderous pride within the marvellous heart of Cain, the original son of man is the root that if provoked, ultimately bears the evil judgmental fruit of murder. That is why it says in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can understand it?” In Genesis 27, Esau, the son of Israel, planned to murder his brother Jacob because Jacob stole his birthright and offended Esau’s marvellous me pride. In Genesis 37, Jacob’s sons planned the murder of Joseph, their youngest brother, because their marvellous me pride was offended by Joseph’s God-given dreams. In 1 Samuel 18, king Saul’s simply superior marvellous me pride was offended by David’s God-given success which Saul had actually benefitted from, and Saul began a murderous vendetta against David. In 2 Samuel 11, David himself conspired to have Uriah the Hittite murdered because within David’s simply superior marvellous me pride he refused to look Uriah in the eye and explain to Uriah what David had done to his wife. In 2 Samuel 3, Joab, the commander of David’s army murdered Abner in cold blood because of Joab’s simply superior marvellous me pride; David intended Abner to take Joab’s place. Any gospel or good news that uses religious reasoning to explain away the bitter fruit of the sinful Cain nature instead of dealing with the root of not marvellous but murderous simply superior sinful pride of people’s deceitful and desperately wicked hearts is counterfeit and false. We will discuss this and the blood of the Lamb at length later in this book.

God originally wanted Adam and Eve as the Sons of God to fill and populate the Earth with Sons of God’s glory. This would have filled the Earth with paradise. Foundation means a throwing down, and the foundation of the world was not Creation but the Fall. Lucifer is a fallen angel who fell like lightening from heaven. Many of God’s angels joined him in his rebellion against God and fell with him. Lucifer fashions himself as God and he is the god of this fallen world. Just as God wanted to fill the Earth with the Sons of God who would love the Lord their God with all their hearts and their neighbour as themselves, Lucifer wanted to fill the Earth with sons of rebellion and destruction whose hearts were filled with hatred and evil spirits that were worshipped as false or lying gods. This was Lucifer’s idea of fool’s paradise and that is exactly what happened. It says in Romans 1:20-32 that in the beginning, people knew the true God but didn’t thank him for what he had done for them or for Creation. They rejected what was good and instead partnered with the secret power or mystery of lawlessness that was at work within their fallen hearts. They became proud and puffed up in their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened. They claimed to be wise but became scoffers and fools, poisoned by their pride. They created new gods in their own corrupted image, or in the image of birds, animals or even reptiles. So, God gave them over to vile affections. The women changed the natural use of men into that which was against nature. In in the same way the men left the natural use of women and burned in lust towards one another; men with men working that which is improper and receiving within bodies and personalities the reward that was due for such indecency. They dishonoured their own bodies in this way to serve the gods that they had created within their own evil imaginations. They partnered with Lucifer, the father of lies, and traded with him. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator who is blessed forever. Having rejected the knowledge of the love and goodness of God and instead embracing the lies of the devil; God gave them over to a depraved mind. They were filled with wickedness, sexual immorality, perversion, abuse, greed, envy, deceit and murder. These scoffers hated God and invented new ways of committing evil. They knew that these things would provoke the judgement of God but chose to believe the lies of the devil and incorporated depraved acts of immorality and murder into their man-made religious tradition to justify the satisfaction of the lusts of the gods they had created for themselves in their own image.

As the population on planet earth grew, the battle between light and darkness, between the fruit of good and evil within people’s hearts, intensified. God had given people free will, the freedom to embrace the blessing of God through the power of the Holy Spirit or to embrace the curse of the devil through the power of lawlessness working secretly within people’s hearts. It was then that the devil played his trump card. It says in Genesis 6:1-4 “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God [power] saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants [fallen ones] in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God [power] came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown”. The expression sons of God from this passage in Genesis 6 is not a good translation. In the original Hebrew the word used was Elohim meaning powers which can be translated as God, gods, powers, judges, magistrates, angels, the great, or the mighty. These sons of power were not the Sons of God. That should be obvious from the way they behaved. These fallen angels took by force the daughters of men. They wanted two things. Firstly, they wanted to corrupt Adam’s generational seed line by fallen angels fathering sons with the daughters of men. This was an attempt to prevent the promised redeemer (see Genesis 3:14-15) who was to be born of the woman, from coming. It was this redeemer who would have his heel pierced by the seed or sons of the serpent on the cross but who would crush the serpent’s head. The head of the serpent is Lucifer. Incidentally, the offspring of these fallen angels became mighty destroyers upon the Earth. These were men of name or renown who may have been worshipped as the gods or heroes of the mythology of the ancient Greeks. Secondly, the fallen angels wanted an inheritance upon the Earth, something that God had originally purposed for mankind.

It says in Genesis 6:5-8,9 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Noah was a righteous man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God”. Lucifer’s paradise and devil-filled kingdom is the exact opposite of the kingdom of God. Lucifer’s demons, false gods or evil spirits are the inspiration behind things like evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, perversion, theft, lies, slander, and fits of rage. These people claimed to be wise but by worshipping the creature instead of the Creator they had become scoffers and fools. In the pre-flood world, God saw that the fallen ones, giants or Nephilim had begun to interbreed with fallen humanity, and the result was people of extreme wickedness with depraved minds. Having rejected the goodness and blessing of God, every imagination of the thoughts of their darkened hearts was only ever evil continually. In the letter of Jude, written by the half-brother of Jesus, is mention of the apocryphal book of Enoch. The book of Enoch is not considered part of the canon of scripture, but it does contain an interesting background on this dreadful period of human history which could contain an element of truth. According to Enoch, the fallen angels made known to the people metallurgy, and how to make jewellery, bracelets, ornaments and the use of cosmetics and makeup. They taught the people sorcery, astrology and witchcraft and how to use charms and enchantments and roots and herbs for making potions and drugs. They taught the people how to make swords, knives, shields and breastplates. However, as number of Nephilim or giants increased upon the Earth, the Earth could no longer sustain them. So, they turned against mankind and began to devour them. They then turned their violence against the rest of creation, sinning against the birds and beasts, reptiles and fish and eventually began devouring each other’s flesh and drinking their blood. These diabolical sins grieved the heart of God. Noah was a righteous man who was perfect in his generations or generational blood line. Noah walked with God and found grace in the eyes of God. He could not help but warn the scoffers of his day again and again that their insolent wickedness and fallen behaviour would one day provoke the judgement of God. But these fallen ones would not listen. What had originally been the paradise of God had become Lucifer’s paradise, the paradise of scoffers and fools. Because of their stubborn refusal to repent and turn away from such wickedness, God, with great regret and a heavy heart, had no choice but to destroy everything that he had created. And he did, completely. That is why the law of universalism that the scoffing geologists cling to so wholeheartedly, that observing the present is the key to understanding the past, is ignorant foolishness. The devil is the original fool, the original scoffer but he is not stupid. The devil’s power is limited but effective. He has no authority or legal right upon the Earth unless people give him their authority, authority that was originally given to Adam by God. For Lucifer to trade himself into people’s hearts, people must agree with his lies. As the father of lies, he mixes his lies with the self-worshipping religion of what people think is true. The devil is called the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air. Air is something that people naturally breath. The scoffers naturally breath in and believe the devil’s lies. They are part of the devil’s corporate identity, their hearts form part of his diabolical kingdom. They live for the satisfaction of the lust of the eyes and flesh, and the pride of life. These things are the tools of the devil’s tempting trade.

It says in Genesis 6:12-14 “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch”. The scoffers poke fun the very thought of Noah’s Ark. They will tell you that the idea of Noah getting kangaroos from Australia for the Ark is just ridiculous. They laugh at the idea of a global flood. The scoffers even draw cartoons of Noah’s Ark with dinosaurs popping their heads out of every window and everyone sniggers. And they will point out that it would be impossible to get every species of animal on to Noah’s Ark. But they are in serious error because they do not know the scriptures or the power of God. Observing the present is not the key to understanding the past. Australia did not exist before the global flood. In the beginning, God created animals according to their kind. That is not according to their species, species is a man-made distinction. It says in Genesis 6:17, 19-20 “And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die… And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto you, to keep them alive”. The original kinds that entered the Ark were creatures after their kind, animals like the cat kind. The original cat would have been a common ancestor to cats such as lions, tigers, cheetahs, jaguars and the like all of which can interbreed. It was after the flood that the different kinds of animals dispersed across the whole Earth. They were able to do this because sea levels were much lower than they are today, the continents were connected by the land bridges of the continental shelves that are now under water. Each family group that migrated away from the Ark after the flood would have intensified its own specific genetic variations or speciation that had originally been created by God. These variations were specifically chosen by God to enable each animal group to survive in the much harsher post-flood world. Incidentally, the animals that populated the Ark would have most likely been juveniles that were small, required less food and had a better chance of survival.

It says in Psalm 24:1-2 “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods”. Creation began with the blue planet and nothing else, the Earth completely covered with water or floods. God originally founded the crust of the Earth upon huge oceans or floods of water that the Bible calls the fountains of the great deep. These oceans were under the crust of the Earth. That is why it says in Psalm 136:6 “To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endures for ever”. The world in which we live today is not like the world that God created in the beginning. That original world was completely destroyed. The fountains of the great deep are not under the Earth today. Those waters now fill the oceans of the Earth. However, there are still pockets of water within the crust of the Earth that produce hot springs, even under the sea.

It says in Genesis 7:15-21 “And they went in into Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man”. Noah’s flood was the complete reversal of the original creation. The crust of the Earth split apart along the lines of the mid oceanic ridges that we see today. The mantle of the earth bulged up along the North Atlantic ridge, and the corresponding Pacific Basin on the other side of the Earth collapsed causing the formation of the Pacific Ocean and the volcanoes that form the Pacific Ring of Fire. The core of the Earth melted and the fountains of the great deep burst forth with such force that the Earth slipped on its axis moving large areas of forest into polar regions where trees cannot grow. Europe and the Americas slid apart, and thousands of cubic miles of limestone-rich supercritical water under extreme heat and pressure jettisoned high into the Earth’s atmosphere. Some of this material was jettisoned into space forming comets and meteors. The rest immediately froze and mixed with mud began to rain back down upon the Earth freezing alive animals such as mammoths and burying whole forests which can found in what is now known as Siberia. This limestone rich supercritical water would have caused cataclysmic earthquakes, and the resultant tidal waves would have begun the creation of the fossil record. Everything was literally washed away. The original forests became absolutely huge continent sized floating mats of trees and vegetation that gradually became waterlogged and sank to form the coal deposits. Many of the fossils were buried very rapidly, for instance fish buried in the process of eating smaller fish, clams buried alive with their shells tightly closed or even whole whales buried showing no signs of predation or decay. The fossils and sediments were sorted into layers or strata by a process called liquefaction.

It says in Psalm 104:5-9 “Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. You covered it with the deep [the flood waters] as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away. They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them. You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth”. At the end of the flood, in just a few months, millions of cubic miles of sediments that had been formed were pushed up out of the flood waters by the still moving continental plates. The waters drained from the land into the oceans to form great or grand canyons and river valleys, and the sediments rose out of the waters to form the mountains. These sediments were full of calcium carbonate that came from the fountains of the great deep. Animal and plant remains that were soaked in the calcium rich waters quickly petrified to form petrified trees and fossilised bones. As these calcium and fossil-rich sediments dried, they quickly hardened into rock. That is why so many rock strata are folded rather than shattered, and that is why fossils can be found at the top of mountains such as in the Himalayas. The oceans were much warmer after the flood, and this would have caused extremely high levels of rainfall over the newly formed mountains. This resulted in an extended period of glaciation called the Ice Age which lasted a few hundred years after the flood. It was as this ice melted that sea water levels rose to submerge the continental shelves and land bridges that once joined the continents.

Of course, the scoffers believe that the mountains are millions of years old. The scoffers teach that coal deposits were formed in tropical swamp conditions over millions of years even though there is no evidence of the roots of trees at the bottom of each coal seam. The scoffers say that fossils record millions of years of the evolution of life on Earth. The truth is that fossils record the rapid progress of Noah’s cataclysmic flood. In the riverbed of the Paluxy River, Somervell County, in Texas there have been numerous sightings of both human and dinosaur footprints seen together in Cretaceous rocks presumed to be 110 million years old. The local people know what these are, but mainstream geologists refuse to take the undeniable physical and photographic evidence of these human footprints seriously because they have chosen to be blind. These scoffers scratch their heads when they look what they call the Cambrian rock layers which they say are roughly 500 million years old. There is a huge diversity of fossilised life forms exhibiting quite advanced presumed evolutionary development which suddenly appear. These fossils have no antecedent fossilised life forms in the Pre-Cambrian rocks that they overlie and from which they supposedly evolved. They call this mystery the Cambrian explosion. It is an established and universal lie. Deep sea creatures were buried first, followed by shallower sea creatures, then shore dwellers, lowland dwellers and finally animals that either dwelt in highland areas or had the ability to flee the rising flood. Fossilised footprints would have been made in shallow mud sediments by those fleeing the flood, the mud dried out by the sun and then covered again by the next surge of flood water. These sediments were then subjected to a period of liquefaction over several months which further sorted these sediments and fossils into banded layers that, apart from unconformities, show no erosion between the layers. There is much evidence within the fossil record that proves that this is true. Things like human artifacts or bones found in coal deposits deep underground, dinosaur and human footprints found together in fossilised mud, and unfossilised dinosaur bones or dinosaur bones found in places like Alaska containing bone marrow and soft tissue. There are even petrified trees called polystrate fossils that show no signs of erosion and that stand vertically but upside down and cut across thousands if not millions of supposed years of sedimentation. The scoffers are educated beyond their understanding. Science is the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained. There is not a shred of real scientific evidence that their beloved geological column invented by amateurs in the early nineteenth century is true. They use what they call index fossils to date rocks but by using circular reasoning, date those same rocks with the fossils the rocks contain. It was in the early to mid-nineteenth century that amateur fossil hunters dreamed up the theory of millions of years that form the notion of geological time. Because they published their theories in textbooks, their lying theories became generally accepted as true. These geological scoffers have been deceived by believing in the religion of their own pseudo-scientific tradition and lying belief system. They believe that they are right, and that the Bible is wrong. Each and every find, every photograph, every out of place artifact, even the very evidence of their own eyes is dismissed as fake, a forgery and only accepted by fools. Some of them are so conceited that they won’t even open their eyes to look at or consider the evidence even for a moment. But seen together, the evidence is overwhelming. These scoffers, like the National Centre for Science Education, are the deceived deceiving deceivers that write school or college textbooks or publish journal articles who actively suppress the truth about God, Creation and the flood. Any actual evidence that disproves the fairytale theory of evolution is carefully hidden away in museum vaults or worse, destroyed. They have invested too much; indeed, their whole livelihoods, school curriculum, college courses, textbooks and university degrees depend on the continuation of this generally accepted but devil induced delusion. And the result? An unprecedented and tragic rise in murder and violent crime in schools and colleges where evolutionary theory is taught as scientific fact. It says in Proverbs 1:22-33 “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scoffers delight in their scoffing, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But you have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes upon you; When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They received none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore, shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.  For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the false security of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkens unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil”. Even though Jesus loves them, the scoffers refuse the correction of God’s wisdom and the promise of the blessing of God’s Holy Spirit. They hate God’s truth and do not choose to honour and respect the God that created them. Instead, they prefer going their own way and being filled with the fruit of their own devices. They live in a fool’s paradise. One day, what they fear will come upon them, destruction will come as a whirlwind and distress and anguish will eventually destroy them. You can be sure of that.

Around the time that the master scoffer Charles Darwin published his beloved book The Origin of Species, he wrote a letter to one of his self-appointed amateur geologist colleagues. In that letter he said “For myself, also, I rejoice profoundly; for thinking of the many cases of men pursuing an illusion for years, often a cold shudder has run through me, and I have asked myself whether I may not have devoted my life to a phantasy. Now I look at it as morally impossible that investigators of truth like you can be wholly wrong; and therefore, I feel that I may rest in peace”. According to Darwin, the amateur pseudo-scientists were investigators of truth. It was these God-hating scoffers that made Darwin profoundly rejoice. They persuaded Darwin that he was not pursuing an illusion or had devoted his life to a phantasy; that he could shrug off any cold shudder and instead rest in peace. Darwin’s rest of peace will be short lived. Darwin was deceived and he himself became a master deceiver who even now still deceives from beyond the grave. Darwin’s book The Origin of Species had another title. It was The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. In another of his letters, Darwin wrote “It is very true what you say about the higher races of men, when high enough, will have spread and exterminated whole nations”. In his book The Descent of Man, he said “At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races”. Darwin believed that savage or inferior individuals or races around the world would almost certainly be exterminated so that the more advanced, civilised and superior people or races could survive in the struggle for life. In his books were the seeds of the survival of the fittest and struggle for life which matured into the fruit of what is called eugenics or social Darwinism. Eugenics means good genes or good creation, a genetically advanced or superior blood line. It encouraged reproduction among the genetically advantaged; the intelligent, healthy and successful. It also aimed to eliminate through things like systematic sterilization, abortion, segregation or even extermination those whom cold calculating logic deemed physically, mentally, morally, religiously or racially unworthy to be present in future generations. Adolf Hitler was one of the world’s most notorious eugenicists. Hitler began reading about social Darwinism while he was imprisoned in 1924. He adopted the social Darwinist take on the survival of the fittest in the struggle for life, believing that the German master race had grown weak due to the influence of non-Aryans in Germany. Hitler’s beliefs and autobiographical manifesto were published in two volumes in 1925 and 1926 entitled Mein Kampf, meaning My Struggle. To Hitler, the struggle for the survival of the German master race depended on its ability to maintain the purity of its gene pool or genetic blood line. Hitler therefore targeted certain groups or races that he considered genetically inferior, or akin to apes, for extermination. These included Jews, Romany Gypsies, Poles, Russians, people with disabilities and the like. There was often a sign used above the entrance to Nazi concentration camps like Auschwitz and others which read “Arbeit Macht Frei” meaning “work sets you free”. This is part of the title of the 1873 novel by Lorenz Diefenbach. These words were corruption of the words of Jesus in John 8:32 “the truth shall make you free”. The words of Jesus are true, Arbeit Macht Frei was a lie. It attempted to give people the false hope that hard work would bring their freedom. There was no work and in Auschwitz alone, more than a million people were brutally murdered in gas chambers disguised as showers in the name of social Darwinism. Hitler originally intended to deport the Jews, but many countries refused to accept them. Murder was Hitlers wicked final solution. The unspeakable evils of the holocaust were a direct result of teachings of Charles Darwin and his contemporaries, and their teachings led to the twentieth century being the bloodiest century in the whole of human history. Jesus said that the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy. It was the devil who was really behind Darwin’s social Darwinist teaching that logically led to the forced sterilisation, racial extermination and mass murder deceptively called eugenics. Peter says in 2 Peter 3:3-7 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men”. The scoffers, like Hitler, or Darwin and his amateur so-called truth-sleuths, were willingly ignorant of God and Creation. They chose to ignore that fact that Noah’s flood was for the destruction of ungodly men who walked after their own lusts. This is so that they could walk after the very same lusts but reject the notion that the satisfaction of such lusts invites the righteous judgement of God. Those who partner with the devil to achieve his purposes for a fool’s paradise or enjoy his pleasures will one day share in his punishment because they form part of his corporate identity. We will discuss this later in this book.

So, why the flood? It was never God’s intention to destroy what he had created. Unfortunately, the whole of humanity except Noah and his family had partnered with the father of lies to create a fool’s paradise. Like Cain, and having the nature of Cain within their fallen hearts, they rejected the goodness and blessing of God and instead embraced the evil curse of Satan. Just like Adolf Hitler, they put the devil’s purposes to kill, steal and destroy into practice. Like squatters who refuse to leave an unsafe and condemned building, the people before the flood refused to repent from following the devil in his evil ways and so were condemned. God had no alternative, everything that he had created except what was with Noah in the Ark was literally washed away. Noah and his family were in the Ark for seven days before the flood began, and it was God who shut them in, not Noah. The rocks, fossils and mountains that we see around us today are a testimony to the righteous judgement of God. Unfortunately, that testimony is ignored. Paul says in 2 Timothy 2:1-4 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”. God wants all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth, but the scoffers make every effort to prevent that. One day, they, like the devil that deceived them, will be cast into the lake of fire. There, there will be much weeping and the gnashing of teeth. It is our choice, let’s make sure that we are not one with them. Let’s make sure that we are not deceived into living and one day, dying, in our own fool’s paradise.

So, what about you? Someone once sang, I’ll get on my knees and pray, we don’t get fooled again. Adam and Eve were fooled into sinning in the garden of Eden. The whole world apart from Noah and his family were fooled into provoking the devastating judgement of God because of their unrepentant sin. The established religion of hand-me-down church tradition fools people into thinking that God is far more interested in people having right theological beliefs than them being redeemed from having the root of the murdering Cain’s fallen prideful nature in their hearts which naturally bears such evil fruit. What about you? Have you been fooled? Are you going to be fooled again? Are you living in a fool’s paradise? Are you living like the marvellous Cain as if there is no tomorrow or as if you are not accountable to anyone except yourself? The ancient world lived like that. It was judged by God and destroyed by water. The future world will live like that and is going to be judged again by God and destroyed, this time by fire. That is why Peter said in 2 Peter 3 that the heavens and the earth are kept in store, reserved for the day of judgment and destruction by fire of ungodly men. Why did Peter say that? He said that in the last days scoffers would come who were poisoned by pride and deliberately ignorant of God’s previous judgements and who would give themselves over to the satisfaction of their evil lusts. Jesus came to offer something much better, he came to bring life, an overflowing life of love and joyful abundance. Don’t be fooled again by the devil, the church establishment or even yourself; it is either one or the other, you can’t have both.

Prayer: Dear Father, I don’t want to be fooled again by the devil, the established religion of church tradition or anyone else into living like the marvellous Cain in a fool’s paradise of my own self-pleasing. Thank you that only you are the way, the truth and the life. Thank you that you came in the person of Jesus to bring me an overflowing life of love and joyful abundance. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, I ask that your kingdom comes, and your will is done in my life as it is in heaven so that heaven will come into my heart. Please lead me to that place of joyful abundance that you won for me through the blood of the cross, so that my heart may be eternally immersed into unending oceans of timeless liquid love.
