House Of The Heart

People live from the heart, not from the head. Jesus said that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. How do the words proceed from the mouth of God? By the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit that dwells within God. Where do God’s words go? Into the house of people’s hearts. Why? Because those who are led by the Holy Spirit of God are the Sons of God. From where does the Holy Spirit lead the Sons of God? From their hearts. Why? So that people’s hearts can bear the fruit of God. Why? Because within ancient Hebrew culture, the son is the image or reflection of his father because the life of the father dwells within the heart of the son to bring forth fruit after the father’s kind. What is the fruit that God wants the house of people’s hearts to bear? The fruit of God’s Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. Anything else? Yes. The benefit of freedom from the simply superior sinful marvellous me prideful Cain nature, sickness, Satan and ultimately death. Anything else? Yes. The benefit of living with all your sins forgiven, all your diseases healed, being redeemed from all destruction, your head crowned with love and compassion, and your mouth satisfied with good things so that your strength is renewed like the eagles. Anything else? Yes. The benefit of participating in the divine nature and escaping the corruption in the world caused by the murderous Cain nature. Anything else? Yes. The benefit of having a heart immersed into unending oceans of timeless liquid love. Anything else? Yes. The benefit of living in the presence of Holy Spirit power that brings overcoming victory in every circumstance of life. In Luke 8 Jesus told a parable about a Sower who went out to sow seeds in his fields. Some of the seed fell on the path and was trodden down and eaten by birds. Some fell on rocks, it sprung up but then withered because there was no moisture. Some fell amongst thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked it. Some fell on good soil; it sprang up and bore fruit a hundredfold. Jesus explained that the seed was the living word of God spoken into people’s hearts so that they can bear the fruit and experience the benefits of God. Jesus explained that the seed that fell on the path was sown into people’s hearts but they did not understand it and the devil came and snatched it away so it wouldn’t bear fruit. The seed that fell on rocks was received into people’s hearts with joy but there was no moisture or water of God’s Holy Spirit, and the fruit withered away. The seed that fell amongst thorns was choked by the cares, riches and pleasures of this life and God’s word brought forth no fruit to harvest. The seed that fell on good ground were those with an honest and good humble heart. They understood and received the living word of God into the house of their hearts, they then tended and guarded it, and in season it brought forth the benefits of a fruitful harvest with patience. Jesus said in Mark 4:26-29 “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how. For the earth brings forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest is come”. Jesus said that the living word of God first brings forth the blade, then the ear, then the full corn or wheat in the ear. This is what everyone wants but remember, Jesus said that the word of God brings forth fruit with patience. Farmers know that there is a time for sowing, and there is a time for reaping. In between is the time for patience. It is during this time that the entire harvest is at risk. It is at risk from the devil snatching the word away, from hard marvellous me hearts that have room for self but no room for the Holy Spirit, and at risk from the cares of this life that falsely promise something better than the harvest. The living word of God sown into a humble, honest and good heart will automatically bring forth the benefits of the harvest in season. The heart is at the heart of the true gospel or good news of God. Why? Because the harvest grows within and comes from within the house of people’s hearts. People can choose whether or not they are hard hearted, have hearts that have no room for the Holy Spirit, have hearts that are choked by the pleasures or cares of this world, or have hearts that are changed by the unmerited blessing or grace of God to be like that of Jesus. Those who have good and honest hearts are the Sons of God. They are not bitter and unforgiving. They are no longer broken-hearted. They have redeemed hearts, and the fruit of God’s Holy Spirit and all of the benefits that God brings will be borne from within the house of their heavenly hearts automatically in season as Jesus said: first the blade, then the ear, then the full head of corn or wheat in the ear.  We discuss broken hearts at length later in this book.

Just as the word symphony means sounding together and describes the sounding together of different instruments in the realms of classical music, the word syncretism a means mixing together and describes the mixing together of different ideas, traditions and cultural beliefs within the realms of religion. Such mixing results in something that the divorcees of the church establishment, who divorce the living word of God from the Holy Spirit who originally spoke that word, consider to be ancient and accepted as truth but it’s not. Jesus said if the blind follow the blind, they will all fall into a pit. The mixing of syncretism is a recipe for disaster. The Greeks mixed just a little of the Bible into their essentially pagan religious culture. For example, Easter is not the Passover. For the people of Israel, the annual celebration of the Passover was absolutely central to their corporate identity as a nation. They were slaves in Egypt, and God instituted the Passover as a means to deliver the people through the blood of the lamb from slavery in Egypt in order to bring them into the land that God promised to Abraham. It was as the people of Israel were celebrating their Passover that the real Passover Lamb of God, Jesus of Nazareth, was crucified by the original simply superior sinning pride of the people he came to save. It was on the Day of Pentecost that thousands of these same people repented from murdering their own saviour and King, and as such were freed from slavery to the marvellous me pride of sin and joined the Early Church. And yet the Greeks were not in the slightest bit interested in the Passover of the people of Israel and being redeemed from being slaves to sin. They simply celebrated their own pagan festival of Easter in its place and through their jigsaw Jesus looked forward to something great when they were dead. Easter was originally the feast of a goddess of fertility associated with the dawn, and the first full Moon after the Spring Equinox. Syncretic traditions always teach good news to its followers, but they are no good news at all. The Greeks believed in a place called Hades, the underworld and realm of the conscious dead. They believed that various demon gods represented by the Sun, Moon or stars descended into the earth or sea at sunset or moonset to rule over this conscious underworld. Jesus said in Matthew 10:28 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”. The Greeks and Romans mixed their own beliefs about Hades with the words of Jesus and dreamt up this horrible place called hell; Hades gone bad, full of fire and worms. They say that this is where those that do not believe in the creeds, spells, incantations, rites, sacraments, rituals, ceremonies, offerings, theologies or dogma of the marvellous religion of established church tradition go the very instant in which they die. The word Jesus used for hell in the Greek was Gehenna, the Valley of Hinnom in Jerusalem. Hinnom means lamentation in Hebrew and this valley is where king Solomon towards the end of his life originally set up statues of demon calf or bull gods for the sacrifice of babies and children. This valley became the local rubbish dump where fires burned continuously, and worms ate the carcasses of the dead. Those that heard the words of Jesus about Gehenna firsthand were not thinking about the Greek concept of hell or Hades gone bad. They knew that Jesus was quoting Isaiah 66:22-24 which says “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the Lord. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh”. The rubbish dump is the home of garbage, things that are fallen, thrown out as useless or valueless, of rubbish. The devil is the father of rebellion and the author of the Fall. He calls those like the marvellous Cain with fallen, simply superior prideful murderous hearts that are full of possibly dormant fire and worms, to follow him to his ultimate doom and theirs. Remember, it says in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can understand it?” The sand-builders of the established religion of hand-me-down church tradition teach a culturally Greek good news gospel that does not deal with the root problem of the deceitful and desperately wicked prideful sinning nature of Cain, the original son of man, whose fallen marvellous me heart cannot bear the fruit of God. They have none of God’s benefits whatsoever. Their gospel is wishful thinking (or believing) that does not save people from the devil’s clutches, nor does it give practical victory over pride, sin, sickness, Satan, poverty or death. The jigsaw Jesus of the church establishment does not bring sight to the blind or hearing to the deaf. The real Jesus, the Jesus of the Bible, does. The real Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. The real Jesus spoke in Hebrew from heaven to the apostle Paul on the Damascus Road and told Paul to go and spread the real gospel. He said in Acts 26:18 that the real gospel was “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me”. The real gospel is bearing the fruit of the living word of God. It is being freed from the power of Satan, from the prideful sinning nature of Cain, sickness, poverty and death. The real gospel is being sanctified or set apart by the faith that is within Jesus, and being given an inheritance within the kingdom or City of God, the New Jerusalem. The real gospel is sharing in a Father-Son relationship with God authored by Jesus. Relationship opens the eyes of people’s hearts; religious tradition leaves people blind but tells them they can see. Relationship changes hearts, religion only changes heads; the devil is the author of the religion of established church orthodox tradition. Humanity’s biggest problem is having a heart that houses the original pride-poisoned sinful judgmental nature of the murderous and not marvellous Cain that nailed Jesus to the cross. However, tradition teaches that it is the wrath or anger of God that is humanity’s biggest problem. Tradition teaches that Jesus, as God the Son, died on the cross to change God the Father so that God’s super-sized outrage at sin could be transformed into a peaceful sea of tranquillity. The fallacy of tradition teaches that God was changed by the cross and God no longer concerns himself the triviality of the pride of man’s selfishness, sexual perversion, child abuse, greed, hatred or even murder. All of these things can be found within the church establishment at one time or another. The fallacy of tradition teaches that God wants people to believe in right dogma, right ritual, right liturgy, right creed, right sacraments and right theology so they can be considered theoretically righteous, escape hell and believe in life after death. People can simply pray the sinners pray, cross their hearts and hope to go to heaven when they die. This is a good news when you are dead gospel, a syncretistic mixing of different cultural ideas, creeds and traditions. Such mixing is a recipe for disaster. Heaven is a blessed hope for when the true followers of Jesus who already have heaven in their hearts die, but that is not the eternal gospel of God. If all people have is a confidence in the creeds and goat-theologies of tradition they will live like Cain, die like Cain, and when they rise from the dead, they will be like Cain, forever.

One of the most famous verses from the New Testament is John 3:16-17 where Jesus says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved”. It is commonly taught within the established church that Jesus is talking about life after death, that people perish in hell, or have everlasting life in heaven. This seems to be confirmed by Jesus in John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also”. The religion of church tradition teaches that the father’s house is like a fairy castle in the sky with turrets, flags and fairies. Tradition teaches that if people pray the sinner’s prayer and believe in the pie in the sky creeds, dogma and beliefs of the church establishment, when they die, they live happily ever after with Jesus in the father’s house. This is a fairy story taught by the blind guides of the established church. It is the product of syncretism, a mixture of beliefs and cultural traditions from different ages, people groups and traditions. Such mixing is a recipe for disaster. Rat poison is also a mixture, the truth of things like whole wheat mixed with a lying smidgen of poison. Rat poison is disaster for the rats who eat it. Often rat poison is dyed green so that it looks rotten to those who can see. The blind teachers of the religion of church tradition cannot see that the leaven of hypocrisy that they eat and force others to eat is rotten. They just assume it’s a free lunch but there is no such thing. When Jesus said in John 3:16-17 that those who believe in him would not perish, he did not mean believe in. That is the creed of religion. The demons believe in God, and they shudder. He meant believe from within him and therefore have the same Father. That means something completely different.

If the story of redemption could be compressed into just a few sentences, this is how it would go. God creates the heavens and the earth, and Adam from the dust of the Earth but breathes Himself by his Holy Spirit into his heart. Adam becomes Son of God because the Holy Spirit shines from within him and his heart becomes a heavenly paradise. God creates Eve from one of Adam’s ribs. The devil lies to Eve who mistakenly believes his lies, she eats forbidden fruit and gives some to Adam who also eats it. Their rebellion changes their nature from being the Sons of God to the seed or sons of the devil or serpent. Poisoned by pride, they gasp the Holy Spirit from their hearts and become slaves of sin. They now have hellish hearts that burn with anger and are eaten by the worms of resentment and regret. Adam lies with Eve, and she conceives and gives birth to Cain, the son of Adam or man. Cain is the firstborn over all creation and in his marvellous me pride, he considers himself simply superior and refuses to allow anyone to tell him what to do. The Holy Spirit of God then overshadows Eve, she conceives God within her womb by the Holy Spirit and gives birth to Yeshua, the Son of God. Yeshua calls himself the Son of Adam or man, and tells Cain about God’s love, God’s righteousness and how he should love the Lord his God with all of his heart, and his neighbour as himself. Cain refuses to listen because he is like the devil, simply superior, and everything that goes wrong in his life, and also the Fall that his parents told him about, just has to be God’s fault. He is incensed with rage, he is the eldest, he is the firstborn, he will live however he wants to live and will not allow his puny little brother to tell him what to do. In a fit of rage directed primarily against God, Cain attacks Yeshua, beats him to a pulp and with the innocent blood of Yeshua on his hands he nails him to a tree and leaves him to die. Cain becomes sick because of what he has done. Yeshua dies as a Cain, the Son of Adam or man, but God raises him from the dead as the Son of God and he ascends back to heaven from where he came and sits on the right hand or strength of God. God offers to forgive Cain if he repents from the pride that murdered Yeshua. If he does, God takes the blood of Yeshua from his guilty hands and applies it to his proud but penitent heart. The innocent and precious blood of Yeshua that Cain shed becomes the very means of his forgiveness, and the very wounds that Cain inflicted upon Yeshua become the very means for his healing. This changes Cain by breaking his pride-filled heart and giving him a new humble heart, and God gives Cain the gift of the Holy Spirit. Cain dies to sinning and now lives to do what is right, and by Yeshua’s wounds, Cain is healed. Cain’s name has been changed from a son of destruction to the Son of God with paradise filling his heavenly heart. This is the story of redemption in a nutshell. According to the Apostle Paul, Abraham was the recipient of the original promise or good news or gospel of redemption. Exactly when did God promise Abraham that when he died, he would go to heaven and not to hell?  The answer is never. It says in Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”. God promised Abraham that God would bless him as a Father and make his name great if Abraham obeyed God’s call out of his natural father’s house. Redemption means bringing something back round full circle. It was the devil that fell like lightening from heaven, not Adam. Redemption does not mean going to heaven when people die although the true followers of Jesus go there now. Heaven is temporary, resurrection is permanent. One day everyone will rise from the dead. Heavenly paradise originally dwelt within the house of Adam’s heart before the Fall. Jesus came as the Son of Abraham to bring that paradise of God’s blessing back into the heavenly house of people’s hearts. Someone somewhere has got the wrong end of the wrong stick and uses that stick to hit people that don’t accept the creeds, dogma and religion of the church establishment. Jesus said to his disciples after he had risen from the dead in John 20:21-22 “Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and says unto them, Receive you the Holy Spirit”. The Father’s house is not like a fairy tale castle in the sky. The Father’s house is Jesus, and the rooms in the father’s house are the hearts of those who are called the Sons of God. They are called the Sons of God because their redeemed hearts are filled with the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood. They bear the fruit of the living word of God. This is redemption, this is salvation, this is the blessing of Abraham. It is practical and real. It has nothing to do with the marvellous creeds, dogma, beliefs, sacraments, ceremonies, rituals, incantations, spells, enchantments, commentaries, theologies, vestments, incense, altars, candlesticks, cassocks, rites, liturgies or traditions of the established church.

When did God promise king David that when he died, he would go to heaven and not hell? The answer is never. In 2 Samuel 7:12-14 it says “And when your days be fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after thee, which shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and your kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: your throne shall be established for ever.” God promised king David that he would sleep with his fathers, that his Son would build a house or temple to be the dwelling place of God. He also promised that his son would be chastened with the rod of men, and with the stripes or wounds of the children of men. Jesus was chastened on the cross as the Son of Adam or man, not for his own sins but for the sins of the whole world. That is why it says in Hebrews 2:9-10 “We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings”. Religion doesn’t bring any sons to glory, sharing in the Father-Son relationship that Jesus of Nazareth has with God, really does. It says in Matthew 27:50-53 “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the spirit. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many”. In Hebrew, the word for tomb meant literally the last house. The saints of old did not go to heaven when they died. They were asleep in their graves, tombs or last houses. King David said in Psalm 16:8-11 “I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For you will not leave my soul in hell [the grave]; neither wilt you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. You will shew me the path of life: in your presence is fulness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore”. King David’s hope was resurrection from the dead, not going to heaven when he died. That is why Paul said in Acts 23:6 that his hope was also resurrection from the dead. When Jesus died, the graves were opened, and when Jesus rose from the dead, the saints of old rose with him and came out of their graves. Death could not hold them because the house of their hearts had been redeemed from the simply superior marvellous me nature of Cain by the blood of the Lamb and the undeniable power of resurrection life. As the men in white linen, they went into Jerusalem and appeared to many. They were the Holy Ones together with Jesus. That would have included both Abraham and David. Jesus shows them the path of life, in Jesus’ presence is the fullness of joy, in his right hand are pleasures evermore. These were the Sons of God; they rose when Jesus rose because through the love and grace of God, they had exactly the same relationship with God as Jesus has. They are part of Jesus’ corporate totality. That is why Jesus said to Mary in John 20:17 “I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God”. The sand-builders of the religion of the church establishment who listen to the words of Jesus but do not do what he says, do not have the same relationship with God that Jesus has. In fact, they have no relationship with God whatsoever. This is because their god is a culturally Greek religious concept, and their Jesus is a fictitious jigsaw Jesus who dwells only in the realms of their culturally Greek fairytale religious commentaries. The sand-builders are not the Sons of God, and they are not part of the real Jesus’ corporate totality. They do not share in Jesus’ identity as the Sons of God. If they did, they would not behave the way they do. Jesus said in Matthew 7:24-27 “Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it”. One day, the religious house built upon the sand of the tradition of established church religion will experience wind, rain and floods which will beat upon that house. Great will be its fall, and the sand-builders who built it will be crushed within it. When Jesus asked his disciples who they thought he was, Peter answered and said that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Jesus replied in Matthew 16:17-19 (YLT) “Happy are you, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but my Father who is in the heavens. And I also say to you, that you are a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades [the grave] shall not prevail against it; and I will give to you the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever you may bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever you may loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens”. This is taken from Youngs Literal Translation of the Bible. Jesus said to Peter that he was blessed because the identity of Jesus as the Son of the living God was revealed to Peter by God, the Father of Jesus. Jesus said that upon the rock of this revelation he would build his ekklesia, called out ones, gathering, assembly or congregation and that the gates of the grave would not prevail against them. The Greek word ekklesia is deliberately mistranslated church in most Bible translations. In the translation of the New Testament translation done by William Tyndale in 1525, Tyndale refused to use the word church to translate the Greek word ekklesia and instead used the word congregation. Tyndale was accused of heresy by the established church and condemned to death. The word church is not in the Bible, the church is not the house of God, the religious establishment called church does not belong to God, Jesus did not give the keys of kingdom power to the established church and the established church does not have divine authority to bind and loose. The only thing the marvellous church establishment binds is itself and its people with its creed, dogma, liturgies, rituals, ceremonies, rites, incantations, spells, commentaries, theologies and traditions. Just as Abraham was called out of his father’s house and the original prideful sinning nature of Cain to experience the fatherhood of God, Jesus calls his disciples, ekklesia or called out ones, assembly, community or congregation out of the corruption of the world caused by evil desires to follow him into the arms of his Father. Instead of being partakers of the natural the fallen sinning murderous prideful Cain nature that nailed Jesus to the cross, they participate in the divine nature by sharing in his identity as the Son of God. They are the ones to whom Jesus has given the keys to move in kingdom power, they are the ones that have divine authority to bind and loose. Jesus brings them to the place of such unshackled Holy Spirit inspired obedience that everything they do is done through the blood of Jesus and in the power of God’s Holy Spirit. It is in that place that God absolutely guarantees their victory over the original sinful pride-poisoned nature of Cain, sickness, Satan and ultimately death. As such, they reign in life, and the eternal life’s breath or the Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood will fill the house of their hearts forever.

In Luke 11, Jesus was casting out demons but was accused by the leaders of religious tradition of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub, the prince of demons. That is of course, the devil. Jesus said in Luke 11:17-18, 20 “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God has come upon you”. Where were the demons? In the house of people’s hearts. Jesus was casting the devil’s demons out. Jesus confirmed this when he said in Luke 11:24-26 “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he comes, he finds it swept and garnished. Then goes he, and takes to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first”. Jesus said that the evil spirit says it would return to the house. He said it would take seven more wicked than himself, that they would return and enter back into the house and that the final state would be worse than the first. Jesus casts demons out of people for a purpose; so that Jesus can bring a heavenly paradise into their hearts by the power of his Holy Spirit. However, people need to will and want to be free from the sins or hooks or footholds or sinful benefits that demons use to latch on to people. Otherwise, if demons are cast out, they have a legal right to come back in. Demons are parasites. They are evil spirits, breaths of evil lying words, things like rebellion, lust, hatred and rejection. Rejection is a lie because God is love, but those who are like the marvellous Cain and believe in rejection are subject to the power of rejection. Rejection becomes in effect a true lie. It is not true but evil spirits are liars that are true to their own evil nature. For example, evil spirits of lusts lust and are looking for those with lustful hearts who long for the satisfaction of their lusts in acts of disgusting depravity. A lustful heart becomes a home for a parasitic lustful evil spirit. A heart consumed with lust does not have the eternal life of God dwelling within it. Such hearts are part of Satan’s kingdom, temple or house, and Satan’s house is not divided against itself. People need to actively will and want to be free from the benefits that the satisfaction of these depraved lusts actually brings. If people stubbornly choose to keep on giving parasitic demon spirits the legal right to dwell within their hearts by walking in the devil’s lustful wicked ways, then they will share in the devil’s punishment of everlasting fire; Jesus will not be able to help them. Their hurtful and hateful wicked lustful hearts will become the forever home of the murderous fire of hatred that will not be quenched and the resentful worms of regret that will never die.

It says in John 8:31-36 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, You shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the slave of sin. And the slave abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed”. The blind guides of religion who heard these living words of Jesus believed that they were free, but they kept on sinning. They knew Jesus was talking about Abraham, but their tradition and the pride of their fallen hearts had turned these religious leaders into blatant hypocrites. Sarah, Abraham’s wife was barren. According to the custom of the day, she gave Abraham her slave Hagar to bear her a surrogate son called Ishmael. Later, because of God’s promise to Abraham, Sarah gave birth to a true son, Isaac. Ishamel was a slave son and represents slaves of sin who sin by nature. When his brother Isaac was weaned, Ishmael as a young man mocked and insulted his baby brother. Ishmael was a natural born scoffer. For that reason, he was cast out of Abraham’s house. Isaac remained in the house of his father because he was a son of promise who inherited both Abraham’s and God’s blessing. God’s blessing was a Father’s blessing that turned Isaac from his natural sinning ways. Jesus is clear, he says that those that sin are slaves of sin. Slaves will be cast out of the father’s house because they are not part of that house. They belong to a different house and kingdom.  The religion of established church tradition teaches that people can be slaves of sin like the marvellous Cain but still go to heaven when they die. They say this is possible because God pretends slaves of sin, lusts, greed, hatred, selfishness, perversion and pride are not sin slaves if people believe in the creeds or sacraments of the church establishment. They teach that if the Son sets people free, they are free to sin, not free from sinning. Why? Because the blind leaders of established church hypocrisy and false prophets of the church establishment are not free from sinning and they cannot imagine that anyone can receive anything more from God than they have received, which is precisely nothing. Paul said in Romans 6:14-18 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves slaves to obey, his slaves ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the slaves of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the slaves of righteousness”. Paul said that those who sin are slaves of sin; they dwell under the dominion or domination of the devil, and that this leads to death. Paul said that the Romans he was writing to had been slaves of sin, but they obeyed from the heart the good news of true salvation; they were made free from being sin-slaves and instead had become slaves of righteousness. Why? Because what the law demanded in the old covenant, grace inspires in the new, and where the old covenant demanded obedience, the new covenant promises it (see Jeremiah 31:33). The new covenant is when the blood of Jesus on people’s guilty hands changes their nature to be like his when it is applied by the Holy Spirit to their proud but penitent hearts. Jesus’ blood takes away the original prideful simply superior marvellous me sinning nature of Cain that nailed Jesus to the cross and instead imparts a new contrite or circumcised heart, a new spirit or life’s breath, and the Holy Spirit dwelling within people’s hearts. That truly is the amazing grace of God. That is why Paul said in Galatians 5:16 “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh”. The Sons of God are led by the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood that dwells within their redeemed hearts not to sin. That is why Paul said in Romans 6:12 “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof”. As we have seen, the church establishment teaches that people are free to sin not that people are free from sinning. They claim that, because they are not under the law but under grace, sin is irrelevant. Why? Because they believe that the cross cancelled the command. This is the defective grace of the wishful thinking of the tradition established church religion: something unreal, something imaginary, something theoretical, something conceptual, something orthodox, something theological, something abstract, something intellectual, something abstruse, something that someone reads or even writes within the goat-theologies of conceptually Greek religious commentaries. This is the way of the marvellous Cain; a devil induced deception and wilful idiotic blindness into the real meaning of what Paul said, it is the leaven of hypocrisy. Religious leadership attracts hypocrites like garbage attracts flies, but the devil is God’s garbage collector; someone has to take out the trash. The devil calls the rebellious, the pride-poisoned scoffers and the leaders of orthodox established church hypocrisy to his ultimate doom but also theirs. Surprisingly, the devil and his evil spirits, lying messengers or demons are actually expressions of the grace of God. Surely, that cannot be! Yes, it is. Why? Because they show us the ultimate end of the pride of rebellious selfishness and the curse of murderous sin before the end. They show us the behaviour of beings who were originally created good by God but rejected both God and what is good to become gods or spiritual powers of curse who decide for themselves what is right and wrong, good or evil. Their good is God’s evil and their greatest delight is murder. They have reached such a state of desperate depravity that they can never repent, change or be forgiven. They cannot repent, but this side of the grave, we can. They are forever destined to an eternal torment of the curse that their rebellion alone has caused. God said regarding the devil in Ezekiel 18 “I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you”. The eternal fire of God’s judgement is not from God, the fire that will devour the devil and his demons already dwells in the midst of them. It is the ultimate end of their absolutely depraved lust for the fruit of murderous hatred and sinful satisfaction of all manner of disgusting acts and unmitigated delight in the shedding of innocent blood. Their all-consuming and everlasting fire is ignited, kindled and inflamed by the depravity that already dwells perversely in their very own fallen proudful hearts. James says in James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee”. It was never God’s intention that people would share in the devil’s utter and eternal torment, but those who behave like him and partner with him to satisfy bother their lust and his ultimately will. However the devil will flee from those that submit themselves to God and resist the devil’s wicked worldly ways. Jude says regarding the cursed behaviour of those who please themselves as the devil’s perverted pleasure partners in in Jude 7 “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh [homosexuality], are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire”. Jesus confirmed God’s judgement on cursed behaviour when he said in Matthew 25 depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. It says in Jonah 2 that those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. This grace was described by Paul in Acts 20:18 and it was the promise that Jesus would “… open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me”. This side of the grave, it is not too late for people to repent to receive forgiveness. But what were the people to repent from? From the pride and fallen simply superior marvellous me Cain nature that nailed Jesus to the cross. It was ultimately the devil and father of lies, the secret power of lawlessness, working within the pride of people’s devilish fallen hearts that inspired the murderous people of Israel to reject, insult, humiliate, beat, crucify and murder their own saviour, God and King. In fact, this was the devil’s greatest delight but also his biggest mistake. The demons that were at work in the hearts of those that demanded Pilate crucify Jesus were slaves to their own evil nature, and so were the people of Israel. But God turned the tables on the devil, the devil’s worst became God’s best. The devil’s greatest delight became his downfall. He inspired and instigated the murder of the only innocent man that ever lived, and for him and those that form a part of his kingdom, there is no forgiveness. For the people that repent from the pride that murdered Jesus, their despicable sin against the God who created and loved them to death becomes their salvation. The very wounds that they inflicted upon Jesus become their healing, and the blood that they shed becomes the means for their forgiveness. God insists that people come to him through the blood of the cross. Why? Because in his absolutely unconditional love, the blood reveals both the problem and the solution in the same instant. It reveals the unspeakable evils of sinful pride of fallen human hearts that nailed Jesus to the cross and the absolutely unconditional love, forgiveness and acceptance of God for those who repent from this same pride that came from the Fall. Everyone everywhere quite naturally thinks that somehow, they really are not that bad. In fact, they often condemn themselves, wondering how someone as marvellous as me could do that. But the blood of the cross reveals that they are far worse than they ever imagined that they could be. On the other hand, the blood of the cross reveals that God is far more forgiving, accepting and loving than people imagine he ever could be. Why? Because if God can forgive those who repent from the pride that murdered him, for those that truly repent is there anything that God will not forgive? Remember, when the innocent and precious blood of Jesus on the guilty hands of those who crucified him is applied by the Holy Spirit to their prideful sinning judgmental hearts, their hearts become humbled, broken, contrite, cut or pierced and God forgives them. They are given new hearts that are then ready to receive the gift of God’s Holy Spirit poured out on the Day of Pentecost. They had been sons of destruction but by repenting from the worst that they could ever do in murdering God, God’s amazing grace enabled them to become God’s best: the Sons of God. This side of the grave, people can have their eyes opened to the grace and blessing of God and can have a change of heart and be turned by the blood of Jesus from the power of Satan to the power of God. One day, everyone will rise from the dead and the heart people die with is the heart that they will rise with. Behaviour in life will become inheritance in resurrection. That is why Peter says in 1 Peter 3:8-12 “Finally, be you all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be merciful, be kind: Not rendering evil for evil, or accusation for accusation: but instead blessing; knowing that you are thereunto called, that you should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no falsehood: Let him turn away from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”.

John 4 describes the conversation between Jesus and a Samaritan woman at a well. Jesus asked for a drink from the well, the woman was shocked that a stranger, a man, had spoken to her, and a conversation began. Jesus said in John 4:10 “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water”. The gift of God is the new wine of God’s gift of Himself. It is the living water of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The person the woman was speaking to IS the incarnation of God. Jesus is the One that will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. It is the fire of God that burns up the entanglements of the world. Jesus said that the woman would have asked, and Jesus would have given. However, the gift of God cannot be received by those with old wineskins, with fallen or trashy hearts, simply superior marvellous me hearts fit for the rubbish dump. New wine needs a new wineskin. It says in Ezekiel 36:25-27 “I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them”. This is the really good news of the eternal gospel of God, and heaven or hell when people die is not mentioned. The good news is a new heart, a new breath, spirit or personality, God’s Holy Spirit within the house or temple of the heart, God’s law written upon the heart, heaven in the heart. This is the eternal gospel of God. The woman at the well was not thinking about life after death. She was not trembling at the thought of the Greek concept of hell. Hades gone bad was not part of her culture. She received God’s gift and was saved in life and because she was saved in life, death looked after itself.

It says in Revelation 21:3-4 “Behold, the dwelling of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away”. In the Book of Revelation, the Father’s house or Temple is called the City of God, the New Jerusalem. It is the City where God dwells. The City of God is a corporate house made up of the Sons of God each of whose heart is filled with the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of the Pentecostal paradise of God’s Fatherhood. Unfortunately, not everyone is part of the City of God because not everyone chooses to have Jesus dwelling within their hearts. Jesus (Yeshua) says in Revelation 22:12-15 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever love and make lies”. Jesus calls everyone out of the corruption of sin and sinning to be blessed with the blessing of Abraham and the anointing of kings so that they do his commandments, have the right to the tree of life, enter into the house or City of God, and have the eternal life’s breath or the Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood dwelling within their heavenly hearts forever. It says in Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely”.

So, what about you? Someone once sang, you are older, shorter of breath and one day closer to death. The people who are alive today are subject to the blessing of time, the time of their lives. Within their lifetime, peoples’ hearts can be changed by being forgiven by, encountering, believing, trusting in and obeying Jesus and being washed from the simply superior murderous Cain nature by his precious blood. When people die, they are no longer subject to the blessing of time. They enter a timeless state and in that timeless state their hearts can no longer be changed. That is why it says in Revelation 22:11-12 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be”. One day, everyone will rise from the dead. When they do, they rise subject to eternity. The heart that people die with is the heart that they will rise with. Behaviour in the time of life will become an eternal inheritance in the eternity of resurrection. Those that are unjust, filthy and unrighteous like the pride-poisoned marvellous me puffed-up murderous Cain when they die will stay like that forever. Those that are righteous and holy when they die will stay like that forever. You can choose the type of life you want to live and the life of which father you want to dwell within the house of your heart today as an inheritance, in an eternal state, forever. The choice is either one or the other; either the pride-poisoned sin-enslaved natural life of Cain, the original son of man that naturally perishes or the eternal life of the paradise of God’s fatherhood that supernaturally fills the hearts of the Sons of God forever. Which will you choose?

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of time. Thank you that in the time of my life, through the new covenant in Jesus’ blood, you can change me. As you know, the new covenant is when the blood of Jesus on people’s guilty hands changes their nature to be like his when you apply it to their prided poisoned not marvellous but if provoked, murderous hearts. Jesus’ blood takes away the original prideful simply superior sinning nature of Cain that nailed Jesus to the cross and instead imparts new contrite or circumcised heart, a new spirit or life’s breath, and your Holy Spirit dwelling within the house of people’s hearts. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, please do that for me. Please change me to into the person I could have been, should have been and would have been if Adam had not sinned at the Fall. Please lead me to the place where I can become the image of the invisible God just like Jesus, by you dwelling within the house of my heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, forever.
