Unending Oceans of Timeless Liquid Love, Rolling and Bringing In God
God had called out Abraham from his naturally sinning marvellous me pride-poisoned father’s house, his people and the Luciferian state controlled religious system in Ur, and into a Father-Son relationship with God. Abraham was living as a stranger in the land of Canaan, God had made a blood covenant with Abraham and had promised that Abraham’s descendants would inherit that land. Later, it was to become the land of Israel. Abraham’s grandson was Jacob. Jacob and his sons, who became the twelve tribes of Israel, went to live in Egypt because of a famine in Canaan. It says in Genesis 15:13-14 “And God said unto Abram, Know of a surety that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.” The secret power of lawlessness was at work within the Egyptians, and they forced the Israelites to become slaves. However, because of God’s covenant with Abraham, God judged the demon gods of Egypt. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt through the blood of the Passover lamb with great riches. We will discuss the blood of the Lamb in detail later in this book. After a delay in the wilderness lasting forty years, caused by the pride of unbelieving disobedience, Joshua (which is Yeshua in Hebrew) led the people across the Jordan into the promised land. However, before they could take possession of the land, the men had to be circumcised. Why? Because the Israelites had not been circumcised in the wilderness, and without circumcision they were not in a covenant relationship with God; God was not their shield, defender or very great reward until this had been done. The word Israel means a Prince with God. God gave this name to Jacob, Isaac’s son and Abraham’s grandson, because he wrestled in life with men and with God and overcame. Jacob was the heir of Abraham’s blessing and because of Abraham’s blessing eventually he became an overcomer too, like Abraham. It says in Deuteronomy 30:6 “And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live”. Abraham’s covenant of circumcision was symbolic of a much more significant new covenant circumcision of the heart to enable people to love the Lord their God with all of their hearts. We will see how this actually works later in this book. The Israelites bore the name Israel, but they began to worship the demon gods of Canaan. They gradually rejected the blessing of Abraham and did not love the Lord their God. As such they failed to overcome. The secret power or mystery of wickedness working within their prideful fallen hearts turned them away from God. In those days, God was their King, the King of Israel. In Hebrew the word king means to walk amongst the people and administer mercy, justice and judgement. When the prophet Samuel had grown old, the people came to him and said that they didn’t want God to be their King anymore, they wanted a man. This upset Samuel who prayed to God. It says in 1 Samuel 8:7-8 “And the Lord said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also to you”. God then told Samuel that if a man became their king, this man would take their sons and daughters into service, take their best land for his own servants, take the best of their harvest and the best of the flocks, and in effect make the people slaves. The people refused to listen and demanded that a man become their king.
There was a man called Saul of the tribe of Benjamin who looked the part. He was handsome and taller than most and was someone that the people would accept. So, God chose Saul to be king. Saul was simply a farmer, but God was going to change all of that. It says in 1 Samuel 10:1 “Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord has anointed you to be captain over his inheritance?”. For Saul to become a king, God had to change him from a farmer into the leader and deliverer of a whole nation who could lead God’s people into overcoming victory. God did this through the anointing. In Hebrew the word for anointing was mashach. It was a pictogram of teeth, a wall and water. Put together, the teeth and wall meant humility (a broken-down wall offering no protection) and water meant oil from crushed olives. Mashach meant literally, the water of humility. Anoint meant to spread out or rub with oil. This is where the word Messiah comes from. Samuel anointed Saul’s head with oil. The anointing was the blessing of God as a Father upon his adopted Son (Saul). In effect, God breathed himself into the oil and God reigned within Saul’s heart by being upon the head of the king. It says in 1 Samuel 10:6 “the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto you, that you do as occasion serve you; for God is with you”. Everything that Saul needed for him to succeed in his calling and destiny in God was included within the anointing. This changed him into another man. The anointing changed him from being a simple farmer into a man who felt and thought like a victorious and overcoming king. However, unlike a word that is spoken and dies in the ears of the listener, the fragrance of the anointing oil represented the continual inspiration or breath of the Holy Spirit which continually came upon and changed Saul’s character or behaviour to enable him to reign in victory. It was like the breath, Holy Spirit or wind of God filling the sails of Saul’s heart with the word of God, overcomer. Just as the new covenant blessing of Abraham changed Abraham and enabled him to walk into and achieve his destiny by Abraham becoming a Son of God, so the anointing of Saul, who was an heir of these same covenant promises, supercharged Saul’s natural breath with the Holy Spirit or supernatural life’s breath of God’s fatherhood. In Hebrew the word holy was qodesh. It meant literally that which follows the threshing. Why? Because when grain was threshed, the wheat was gathered and set apart in the storehouse, but the chaff was blown away. The word holy means something that is different, set apart or special. In Hebrew, the word for heart is leb. It is a pictogram of a shepherd’s staff and a house or tent. It means literally the authority inside. It was related to words for things like courage, thirst, knowledge, thinking, conscience and moral character of the inner man. The anointing changed Saul’s heart and through the word of God and the Holy Spirit or divine breath that spoke that word, for a season Saul became a different person. Saul became holy or set apart in his heart to enable him to serve the purposes of God as a reigning and conquering king.
Unfortunately, this Father-Son relationship that Saul had with God through the living word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, did not last. When the Israelites escaped from Egypt and were travelling through the wilderness, the Amalekites were a nation of murderous thieves who mercilessly attacked, plundered and killed the weak and helpless that were struggling and trailing behind the main group. The Amalekites were a people that had embraced the secret power of lawlessness, and the thoughts and intentions of these people were only ever evil continually. God had given them time to repent but they refused, and so God through his word, commanded Saul to destroy completely these wicked people and all that they had. Saul destroyed the Amalekites but for religious purposes disobeyed the word of God by keeping the best of their livestock and their king, Agag, alive. When challenged by the prophet Samuel, Saul said that he had fully obeyed the word of God but had kept the livestock alive to make a sacrifice to God at Gilgal. It says in 1 Samuel 15: 22-23 “And Samuel said, Does the Lord have as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king”. The Israelite army had lusted after the wealth of the Amalekites, wealth that the Amalekites had gained by killing, plundering and destroying. Saul’s marvellous me heart feared rejection by the people and pandered to their greed. He flatly disobeyed the word of God. Saul was no longer holy or set apart for God. Saul reverted to a simply superior marvellous me pride-poisoned puffed-up scoffer. Just like Cain, and the religious Pharisees that persecuted Jesus, and the established religion of church tradition, he was deceived into thinking that a religious sacrifice or offering could cover over the sin of continued disobedience and greed. God declared that such rebellion is the sin of religious witchcraft and an attempt to control God using the spirit of witchcraft. Why? Because the spirit of witchcraft is control, and an offering received by God is an obligation for God to respond in kind. God refused to be controlled by accepting such an offering from Saul. Saul acknowledged his mistake with a religious confession, but he did not repent. Instead, in the simply superior pride of his marvellous me heart he wanted Samuel to honour him before the elders of the people. Samuel refused. As Samuel turned to leave, Saul grabbed his cloak, and it ripped. It says in 1 Samuel 15:28 “And Samuel said to him, The Lord has rent the kingdom of Israel from you this day, and has given it to a neighbour of yours, that is better than you.” Like his first father Adam, Saul rebelled against God by rejecting the word of God. God had no choice but to reject Saul as the king of Israel. The prophet Samuel was told by God to go to Jesse in Bethlehem and anoint one of Jesse’s sons as the next king of Israel. Jesse had several tall and strong sons, and Samuel was surprised that God did not choose one of them. It says in 1 Samuel 17:7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart”. Samuel anointed David the shepherd boy to be the next king of Israel. King David was described in Acts 13:22 as a man after or like the heart of God. Apart from a brief period of rebellion, David served God wholeheartedly all his days. Remember, in Hebrew the word for anoint means literally, the water of humility. David was humble hearted and obeyed the word of God by the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God. David did God’s will and was inspired by God’s Holy Spirit to write prophetically many of the Psalms. We will discuss this later in this book.
Possibly one of the most famous passages in the Bible about David is that of David and Goliath. The Philistines were demon worshipping peoples that enslaved and oppressed the Israelites because they began to worship the same demon gods. The Philistines assembled for battle to fight against Israel, and Goliath, their champion, challenged the Israelites to choose a man to fight against him. The rules were simple, a fight to the death with the winner taking all. Goliath was from Gath, in Hebrew the word for Gath is related to the word for a wine press, the place of crushing. The word Goliath meant to strip naked or to shamefully expose as when prisoners of war were taken into captivity. Goliath was a monster of a man, over nine feet tall, covered head to foot in armour and armed to the hilt. Naturally speaking, Goliath was invincible. However, Goliath had a problem. What was that? According to 1 Samuel 17:26, Goliath was uncircumcised. Why is that important? He was not in a covenant relationship with God, but the Israelites were. King Saul and the Israelites, including David’s brothers Eliab, Abinadab and Shammah were facing the Philistines and were ready to fight but no-one dared step forward to confront Goliath. Why were they afraid? Because they were ignorant of the covenant promises that God had made to their father, Abraham. But as Yehovah’s anointed, David was not. David was sent by Jesse his father to take roasted grain and ten loaves of bread for his brothers and ten cheeses for their commanding officer. David overheard Goliath’s challenge and told Saul he was willing to fight against Goliath. David said that God had given him the victory over the lion and the bear, and that God would give him the victory over Goliath too. So, Saul gave him permission. David then approached Goliath with his shepherds’ staff, five smooth stones in his shepherds’ bag and his sling in his hand. Goliath spoke first and said in 1 Samuel 17:43 “Am I a dog that you come to me with sticks?” The answer was yes. Goliath cursed David by his gods, but such a curse had no effect on David. Why not? Because God had promised to curse anyone who cursed Abraham or his true descendants. Centuries earlier, God had promised Abraham “Your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice”. God had made a blood covenant with Abraham and promised Abraham that God would be Abraham’s shield, defender and very great reward. As mentioned earlier, this same promise of overcoming victory and reward applied to Abraham’s true descendants, and that included the Israelites and of course David. So, God had already promised to give David overcoming victory. It says in 1 Samuel 17:45-47 “Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands”. That is why David said that the battle is the Lord’s and that is why David was so confident of victory. Although naturally speaking Goliath was invincible, supernaturally speaking David was untouchable. David slung a stone at Goliath which knocked Goliath to the ground, then David cut off Goliath’s head with Goliath’s own sword and the Philistine army fled. By what practical means was David enabled to win such an amazing victory? Through the practical power of the saving anointing. Samuel the prophet had anointed David’s head with oil. This was symbolic of God anointing David with the Holy Spirit and the promise of the true salvation overcoming victory in every circumstance of life. Though the anointing of the eternal life’s breath or Holy Spirit of the paradise of God’s fatherhood, God reigned supreme within the breathings of David’s personality or heart, and this promise of the true salvation of kingdom victory enabled David to be a winner in everything that he did. David said in Psalm 20:5-9 “We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions. Now know I that the Yehovah saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save us Lord: let the king hear us when we call”. David said that I know Yehovah saves his anointed. In Greek, his anointed is his Christ. In Hebrew, these words are something like Yehovah yasha mashiach which is very close to the words Yehovah-Yasha Mashiach. This means I AM YOUR SALVATION, THE ANOINTED ONE. It is the name of God who became the man Jesus the Son of David. Jesus became the Anointed One when he was anointed to bring the true salvation of binding the broken-hearted and setting the captives free. It is also very close to the expression that Paul the Apostle frequently uses in his letters, in Christ Jesus. It means to live within the saving anointing of the I AM God. That is what blood-borne blessing or grace or unmerited favour that God poured out upon Jesus’ brothers or bride or Sons of God on the Day of Pentecost.
However, it was not plain sailing for David. Just as God had an amazing plan to bless David, Lucifer had a diabolical plan to curse and destroy David by inspiring firstly king Saul and then subsequently David into rebellion. Saul became intensely jealous of David and the success that God had given David. It says in Proverbs 26:2 “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come”. It says in 1 Samuel 16 that an evil spirit from God came and tormented Saul. Because of his unrepentant pride poisoned jealous simply superior marvellous me heart, the evil spirit of curse had a cause to come upon Saul. However, when David played his lyre and worshipped God, Saul’s heart temporarily changed by being captivated by God’s wonder, and the evil spirit had no cause to come and so had to leave Saul for a season. This was the grace of God. God had rejected Saul as king but not as a person. God still loved Saul and gave Saul the opportunity to repent from his marvellous me jealousy and become a worshipper of God, but Saul refused. Because of Saul’s continued rebellion, the evil spirits of rejection, rebellion and resentment consumed Saul’s heart. The evil spirits of the mystery of lawlessness inspired him to begin a murderous vendetta against David. Because David continued to walk with God, Lucifer’s plan for Saul to sin and destroy David failed. David remained in a covenant relationship with God, but Saul did not. Eventually, Saul reaped what he had repeatedly sown; he was defeated by the Philistines and committed suicide. However, Lucifer then attempted to destroy David through David’s own marvellous me prideful simply superior sinning nature that he inherited from Adam and shared with Cain which nearly succeeded. King David and the purposes of God were served by a group of elite warriors called David’s mighty men, or the thirty. There were actually thirty-seven mighty men, three of which were particularly distinguished. These men were known for their bravery, strength, courage and loyalty to David. They had come under the umbrella or covering of the saving or victorious overcoming anointing that David had received from God. It was the covering of this same superabundant victorious saving anointing that enabled them to live in the presence of Holy Spirit power where overcoming victory was absolutely guaranteed. These men played a crucial role in serving the purposes of God by establishing David as king and bringing peace and safety to Israel during David’s lifetime. As such, these men were victorious overcomers and invincible in battle. In 2 Samuel 11 it says that the time came for kings to go to war. David sent his army and all his mighty men to fight his battles for him, but David stayed in Jerusalem and was probably bored. This was far more serious that it may seem. David should have been with his army but was not and came out from under the protection and covenant covering and saving anointing of Abraham’s umbrella. One evening as David walked on the roof of his house, he spied with his little lustful eye a beautiful woman bathing. Instead of looking away, he kept watching, wondering who she was. Becoming captivated by her beauty and enticed, he made enquiries and found out it was Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Uriah was one of the king’s mighty men who was away risking his life and fighting for the king. Uriah only had one wife, but David had many. David sent for Bathsheba, and she came to him wondering what David wanted with her. Unfortunately, she soon found out. He raped her, and she conceived a child. To avoid any chance of humiliation of his simply superior marvellous me heart, he sent for Uriah and told him to go home to Bathsheba in the hope Uriah would lie with her. As one of David’s mighty men, Uriah was living under the covering of the blessing, unmerited favour or unearned grace of anointing of God’s Holy Spirit and Uriah refused to go to his home. Why? In 2 Samuel 11:11 Uriah said “The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing”. It was the covering of the saving anointing of God’s Holy Spirit that inspired Uriah to do what was right rather than obey the king and do what was wrong. It was this same saving anointing that David had temporarily rejected to have his lustful way with Uriah’s wife. One thing led to another, and eventually David persuaded Joab, the leader of the army, to betray Uriah into the hands of their enemies during the fighting to be killed. Just as it was out of his simply superior marvellous me pride that Cain murdered Abel, and the people of Israel crucified Jesus, so David murdered Uriah. In David’s ancient Hebrew culture, what David did to Bathsheba and her husband would have been unimaginably evil. Instead of seeking God for help at any point during this dreadful downward spiral into depravity, David submitted to the secret power or mystery of evil that had slithered unknowingly into his heart and David’s final solution for what he had done was absolutely not marvellous, but murderous. He served the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life that came from the Fall. As we have already seen, in Hebrew, the name Satan or adversary means literally the snake that surrounds and devours life, or simply the murdering snake. That is why Jesus said in John 8:44 that the devil was a murderer from the beginning. Murder is the shedding of innocent blood and is the devil’s mark, signature or calling card. Being king, David had no fear of being punished by man for what he had done. The word inspire comes from the Latin inspirare which means to blow into or breathe upon. The word literally means, in spirit. In his natural fallen state and like everyone except Jesus, David shared the evil pride-poisoned nature of Cain. It was Luciferian lust that inspired David with evil spirits to have his lustful way with Bathsheba just as it was Luciferian pride that conspired to have Uriah murdered and shed his innocent blood. In effect, David served the devil and offered Uriah’s blood on the altar ego of his murderous pride. David simply refused to look Uriah the Hittite in the eye and confess what he had done to his wife. This is not to judge David, for everyone except Jesus shares in the prideful nature of the murderous Cain and Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall”. David was challenged by Nathan the prophet and repented deeply for what he had done. David’s penitent prayer is recorded in Psalm 51:1-3, 6-12 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which you hast broken may rejoice. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free spirit.” David prayed that God would forgive him and wash away his sins, that David would know truth again in his heart, that his bones would once again rejoice, that God would purify his heart, put a right spirit within him, not cast him from God’s presence and not withdraw his Holy Spirit from David. God did all those things for David and more. However, it is a divine law that what someone sows, that is what they will reap. David’s family and indeed the whole nation was subjected to a great deal of personal heartache and misery before David was fully restored. It was only because David turned away from the secret power of lawlessness, submitted himself to the living word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, and continued to seek God with all his heart that he survived that dreadful ordeal. Even then, something more had to be done. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. In fulfilment of the covenant promises that God had made to Abraham, David’s God was born as the man Jesus of Nazareth. As the innocent Lamb of God, Jesus was crucified by the pride of the simply superior marvellous me people of Israel, those he came to save. Why? It says in Romans 3:10-18 “There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of serpents is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes”. The people of God, the Israel or God, the people of Israel had the poison of venomous serpents on their lips and when Pilate asked them what the people wanted him to do with their King, they shouted crucify him. On the cross, God in the person of Jesus acted like a sponge and absorbed into his own broken body the murderous hatred from the lips and actual murder from the hearts of those he came to save. He potentially took their dreadful wickedness to the grave. On the Day of Pentecost many were cut to the heart because of what they had done, and God redeemed them from their not marvellous but murderous sin and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit. In the same way, David’s sin had broken his heart but his broken and contrite heart was redeemed from the desperate evils of what he had done. We will discuss this more later in this book.
In his later life and when God had fulfilled his blood covenant promise to Abraham by giving David rest from all his enemies, David determined in his heart to build a temple or house for God to dwell in. However, God would not allow David to do this because David had been a man of blood. It says in 2 Samuel 7:12-16 “And when your days be fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, which shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you. And your house and your kingdom shall be established for ever before you: your throne shall be established for ever”. David’s son Solomon became king after David, and Solomon did build a temple in Jerusalem, but it didn’t last, nor did his kingdom. It says in 1 Kings 11:4-6 “When Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father”. In his later years, using the influence of his foreign wives, the secret power of lawlessness turned Solomon away from God to serve other gods. These gods are the gods that man created in his own image and that were evil spirits or demons in disguise. These demon gods incorporated satisfying depraved lusts into the rituals of their worship. Such rituals included sexual depravity, and the offering of the blood of babies and the children of temple prostitutes to these demon gods. Solomon was not the Son of David in his later years because he did not behave like David. He was not the Son of God because he did not have a heart after God’s own heart like David did. By rebelling against the word of God he was no longer holy or set apart for God. He became a scoffing son of rebellion and served the father of lies, the original sinner, just like Cain.
In the days of king Herod, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to the virgin Mary. In Luke 1:30-33, 35 the angel said “Fear not, Mary: for you have found favour with God. And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give to him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy one which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God”. When the Israelites had first entered Israel, the land of God’s promise, Yehovah God was the King of Israel. The Israelites rejected God as their King and asked for a man to rule over them. Many centuries later, Yehovah God Himself became a man in the person of Jesus, fully God and fully man. That is why it says in Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass”. He was and is as a man the incarnation of the personality of God’s ideal Son. He is the Son of Adam or man, the Son of Abraham, the Son of David and the Son of God. The angel Gabriel said that God would give Jesus the throne of his father, David, that he would rule over the house of Jacob and his kingdom would never end. Indeed, the Roman Governor Pilate had a plaque placed over Jesus’ head when he was on the cross which read This Is Jesus, The King Of The Jews. Just as the word synchronous means timing together, the word syncretism means a mixing together of different cultural beliefs and traditions. The religious belief that Jesus is God the Son is a product of syncretism that has nothing to do with the Bible. It is a poisonous concoction mixed up by the father of lies to blind people to the fact that God wants them to become the Sons of God together with Jesus. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:20 “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils”. As the good news of Jesus spread across the Roman Empire, those that were culturally Greek mixed just a little about Jesus and the Bible into their essentially devil-worshipping pagan religious beliefs. They had no interest in experiencing the fatherhood of God. They had no interest in the culture of the ancient Hebrews, of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, the twelve tribes, the prophets, psalms and the covenant promises of God. What interested them was a reasoned out logical intellectual conceptual and theoretical mental understanding of the so-called Christian God by looking through the distorted lenses of their own Luciferian religious culture and tradition. Hence was born this religious pursuit called theology, the worship of tradition, the religion of the established church. It teaches that the Father is not the Son, and that the Son is not the Spirit, and that the Spirit is not the Father. It calls this religious concept of God the Holy Trinity. According to tradition, although not found in the Bible, the Holy Trinity is the central dogma of the Christian Theology of the church establishment in that the One God exists in Three Persons and one substance. The word substance came from the Greek word homoousion meaning co-substantial which was first suggested by the Roman Emperor Constantine I at the Church Council of Nicaea that he convened in 325 AD. In the ancient world, the Sun, Moon and stars were worshipped as gods that all shared the same substance, and they worshipped fire as the substance or flesh of the gods. The sand-builders of religious tradition who claim to know God but by their actions deny him insist that the existence of the Holy Trinity is a mystery because it can neither be known by unaided human reason apart from divine revelation or cogently demonstrated by reason once it has been revealed. On the other hand, they insist that even though the mystery is beyond reason, it is not incompatible with the principles of rational thought. What they really mean is, it is unreasonable, it is not in the Bible and doesn’t make sense. Yet undeterred, these blind guides accept that the Holy Trinity is not given in the Bible as a formulated definition but still insist that the Holy Trinty is the truth that appears in fragmentary allusions that infer its existence throughout scripture. For example, Isaiah saw a vision of Yehovah God in Isaiah 6 and the Seraphim cried “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts”. The blind guides teach that each of these holies is an allusion specifically dedicated to each co-equal and co-eternal member of the Triune Godhead; the first holy is for God the Father, the second for God the Son and the third for the God the Holy Spirit. The word allusion comes from the Latin alludere meaning to play, jest or make fun of. It is related to the word ludicrous. Despite the fact the Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:6 not to go beyond that which is written, the sand-builders of the church establishment who dreamed up the notion of the Trinity went way beyond what is written and ventured into realms of fantasy. The suggestion that the holy, holy, holy of Isaiah 6 or that the real Son of David have anything at all to do with the Holy Trinity is indeed ludicrous. It gets even more ludicrous than that. In Genesis 18 Yehovah God visited Abraham with two angels to confirm that Sarah who was barren and past child-bearing age would bear a son as God had promised many years before. Yehovah God also mentioned to Abraham that he had come down to see if the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were really that bad. The two angels that were with God set their faces towards Sodom, and in Genesis 19 they arrived there, only to be threatened with rape by the Sodomites. According to the religion of church tradition, these two angels were actually the second two persons of the Godhead or Holy Trinity in disguise: God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Why? Because in Genesis 18:3 the word three is mentioned, and according to the false prophets of church history, this just has to be an allusion to the Trinity. The heroes of church tradition have exchanged the truth of God for their lying illusions, receive praise from one another but do absolutely nothing to receive the praise that comes only from God. As we have already seen, water is a liquid but can be manifest in solid form as ice or in gas form as steam; one in three. In the same way God can manifest himself as a Father, God became a man to manifest himself as the Son, and God himself is the Holy Spirit who manifests himself as either the Father, or the Son or simply Himself for he is God; one in three. Just as water is one, so is God. God does not exist across all space and time in three different eternal and co-equal persons of a Father, Son and Holy Spirit as one. God is One, Jesus is the incarnation of God, God in the flesh, God as a man. Jesus asked the religious leaders of his day a question. It says in Matthew 22:42-45 “What think you of Christ? whose son is he? They say to him, The son of David. He says to them, How then does David in Spirit call him Lord, saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool? If David then calls him Lord, how is he his son?” Yehovah God is One, the real Jesus is two, as the Son of Abraham and the Son of David, fully man, and as Yehovah God, fully God. That is why it says in Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” and in Isaiah 33:22 “For the Lord [Yehovah] is our judge, the Lord [Yehovah] is our lawgiver, the Lord [Yehovah] is our king; he will save us” and in Zechariah 14:3-4, 9 “Then shall the Lord [Yehovah] go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south….And the Lord [Yehovah] shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord [Yehovah], and his name one”. Isaiah clearly states that the son that is given is the Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. That is not the Trinity or Triune Godhead. Isaiah clearly states that Yehovah God is the King of Israel. That is not the Trinity or Triune Godhead, or even a part of the Triune Godhead. Zechariah clearly states that the feet of Yehovah God will one day stand upon the mount of Olives, and that Yehovah God will be King over all the earth, that there will be one Yehovah, and his name one. One means one. However, the church establishment teaches that one means three. Jesus said in Matthew 13:14-15 “And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them”. The spirit of witchcraft is the rebellion of domination, manipulation and control. The devil’s lies are enshrined, protected and propagated by the deceived and deceiving dominating, manipulating and controlling defence mechanisms that the devil, using the Roman Emperor Constantine, his successors, the church councils that they convened and creeds that they contrived, built into the established religious church order. For those who submit to the authority of Constantine and his creeds, Constantine still rules what could be considered his church from beyond the grave. That is why in so many churches, people hear but they do not understand, they see but do not perceive, they are not allowed to turn to the real Jesus and so they do not experience true salvation; they do not live in the undeniable power of resurrection life.
So why David? It says in Psalm 18:46-50 “The Lord lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me. He delivers me from mine enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore will I give thanks to thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises to your name. Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore”. God anointed king David with the Holy Spirit and power, and through that anointing, God gave king David mercy, great deliverance and overcoming victory over all his enemies, for evermore. This was a fulfilment of the blood covenant that God had made with Abraham. These enemies were the devil-worshipping peoples like the Amalekites that surrounded Israel. These peoples were subject to the secret power or evil spirits of lawlessness that wanted to kill, steal from and destroy Israel. In Matthew 12:22-23 it says “Then was brought unto Jesus one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw. And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?” During his earthly ministry, the real Jesus was often described as the Son of David because the real Jesus was living under the same umbrella, covering or overcoming anointing of his father, David. So, what was David’s promise? God’s promise to David was “I will set up your seed after you, which shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son”. As the real King of Israel, God, anointed Jesus with Himself, and granted him kingdom victory over the enemies of pride, sin, sickness, Satan, demons and death. That is why it says in Luke 9:1-2 “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick”. Jesus granted the same kingdom victory to his disciples. The overcoming victory of the real Jesus as the Son of David depends upon the blood-covenant promises that God made to king David and to Abraham. It is based upon the faithfulness of God in keeping his promises. It has nothing to do with you or me, our individual faith or prayers or spells or enchantments or creeds or vestments or theologies or incantations or rituals or liturgies anything else about us individually or the deceptive religion of the church establishment that worships theology and tradition instead of God. In Psalm 139:23-24 David prayed “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting”. Why? Because David knew that in order to live in the Holy Spirit power of kingdom victory, he needed the sovereign grace of the living word of God to free him from any sinful wickedness lurking within darkened recesses of his naturally simply superior marvellous me pride-poisoned fallen nature that he shared with Cain. Once this dominion of darkness was gone, he was then ready for God to lead him into the presence of Holy Spirit power were overcoming victory was guaranteed. God wants to do the same for you. When the eyes of your heart are enlightened so that you can see and know that, if you are Abraham’s seed or son and heir through the blood of the sinless Lamb of God and your heart is humble and right before God, the victory is yours because of God, Abraham, the Son of Abraham and the Son of David and not because of you. That is what this book is all about.
So, what about you? Someone once sang, got to get you into my life. Throughout David’s life, this was David’s ever-present prayer, and a prayer that God answered with a continual yes. However, before God can get himself into people’s hearts, he first has to get the simply superior marvellous me pride out. He does that through the blood, and we will discuss this at length later in this book. But remember, the God that David wanted to get into his life had nothing to do with the triune Godhead of the religion of established church tradition. In fact, the triune Godhead or Trinity of the religion of hand-me-down church tradition has nothing to do at all; it is a concept that made no promises, keeps no promises and answers no prayers. David knew without a shadow of a doubt that the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit on upon his head, and the inflow of the divine life of the living word of God into his grace-humbled heart would change everything. It was this, and only this, that brought David the true salvation of overcoming victory in every aspect of his life. The true God, the real Jesus and spotless sinless Lamb of God who takes away the simply superior marvellous me sins of the world, by his Holy Spirit, can and will do the same for you. Humbly receive the Holy Spirit ingrafted or inbreathed living word of God that can save you by giving you kingdom victory over the enemies of pride, sin, sickness, Satan, demons and ultimately death.
Prayer: Dear Father, I would like to be the Lord’s anointed just like David and just like Jesus. Dear Father, you anointed both David and Jesus with your Holy Spirit to accomplish your purposes and I would like your anointing to enable me to accomplish your purpose for my life too. I would like to live under the umbrella, covering or anointing of your Holy Spirit so that through the blood of the Lamb of God I can be freed from the simply superior marvellous me life of Cain that came from the Fall and instead live in the undeniable power of resurrection life. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, please speak your living word into my heart to lead me to that place where the anointing changes me into a different person and grants me success in everything that I do. Then I will look, feel and behave just like Yeshua, and be with you, forever.
