Under The Umbrella

As we have seen, modern culture is an individualistic culture; it is all about me, my life, my beliefs, where I go, what I do, what I own, where I live, and what happens to me when I die. The ancient Hebrew culture of the Bible was not like that; it was a corporate culture. The people of Israel formed a corporate collective which God saw in its totality. The people of Israel were in covenant with the God of their fathers; those that kept the terms of that covenant were under the corporate covenant-covering and automatically recipients of covenant-promised blessing. It had nothing to do with any particular individual, their life, their beliefs, or what they did. As long as they kept the terms of the covenant, they were part of the corporate totality of covenant-keeping Israel. That meant that they were heirs of the covenant blessings according to the promise. They had come under and were living beneath the covering of Abraham’s blood-covered umbrella. This in turn guaranteed that for them, God would automatically keep his covenant promises. It had nothing to do with anyone’s life, or prayers, or beliefs, or creed, or personal religious observances or indeed anything about them individually. David said in Psalm 105:1-15 “O give thanks unto the Lord [Yehovah]; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Remember his marvellous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth. He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm”.  David wrote this psalm about and for the people of Israel, those who were living under the corporate totality of the blessing of the everlasting covenant promise. David is calling the covenant-keeping people to corporately rejoice in the wonderful works of Yehovah God for them. These wonderful works were promised by God to the seed or sons of God’s servant Abraham, confirmed to Issac, and again promised to the sons of Jacob; those that God had chosen. God promised them the land of Canaan as their inheritance and allowed no man to harm them. God said touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm. God called Abraham, Isaac and Jacob his prophets and his anointed ones. In Greek, the root of the word anointing is chrio, this is the root of the word Christian in English. The Patriarchs were the original Christians or anointed ones who lived under the covenant-covering or saving anointing of God’s Holy Spirit. This is the blessing or grace of the unmerited and unearned favour that God promised to Abraham. This blessing is the gift of God’s Holy Spirit that fills hearts redeemed from the pride that nailed Jesus to the cross and enables people to live in the presence of Holy Spirit power where overcoming victory in every circumstance of life is absolutely guaranteed. This same blessing promised to Abraham was for all the families of the Earth. It was this blessing that was poured out on the Day of Pentecost. Those that fulfil the terms of God’s covenant form a corporate totality who come under the sovereign grace of God’s unmerited and unearned blessing of Abraham, the Pentecostal covering or anointing of God’s Holy Spirit. This is Abraham’s umbrella.

In the days of king Herod, there was a priest called Zechariah whose wife Elizabeth and they were both old and dreadfully ashamed. In Hebrew, the word for barren was aqar and means literally plucked up by the roots. Zechariah was a righteous man but within his culture, the barrenness of his wife would have been sure indication of shameful behaviour resulting in this curse. The angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah in the temple in Jerusalem and promised that Elizabeth would bear a son. The angel said the son would be called John and said in Luke 1:15-17 “of the Holy Spirit he shall be full, even from his mother’s womb; and many of the sons of Israel he shall turn to the Lord their God, and he shall go before Him, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn hearts of fathers unto the sons, and disobedient ones to the wisdom of righteous ones, to make ready for the Lord, a people prepared”. John was to be filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother’s womb, to prepare the people for the coming of Yehovah God, the King of Israel in the person of the man Jesus. When John was to be named, Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied. He said in Luke 1:68-75 “Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, Because He did look upon, And wrought redemption for His people, And did raise an horn of salvation to us, In the house of David His servant, As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Which have been from the age; Salvation from our enemies, And out of the hand of all hating us, To do kindness with our fathers, And to be mindful of His holy covenant, An oath that He swore to Abraham our father, To give to us, without fear, Out of the hand of our enemies having been delivered, To serve Him, in holiness and righteousness Before Him, all the days of our life”. Zechariah blessed God because God was in the process of fulfilling the blood covenant promises that he had made to the fathers Abraham, and David. God had promised Abraham that “Your son shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in your son shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice” and to David “I will set up your son after you, which shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son”. These were the kingdom promises, promises which included the true salvation of being saved out of the oppressive hand of all enemies and to be enabled to serve God in holiness and righteousness all the days of their lives. True salvation is being set free from the oppressive hand of Lucifer, Satan, the devil and father of lies. It means coming humbly under the blessing or covenant-covering of the umbrella of blessing promised to Abraham and his true heirs by Yehovah God; being saved from the prideful marvellous me nature of Cain, sickness, Satan, disease and ultimately death. This was the original gospel of the good news of God’s salvation before it was changed by Constantine’s clergy and the religion of established church tradition into being saved from hell after people are physically dead. Regarding John, Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and said in Luke 1:76-79 “And you, child, Prophet of the Highest Shall you be called; For you shall go before the face of the Lord, To prepare His ways. To give knowledge of salvation to His people In remission of their sins, Through the tender mercies of our God, In which the rising from on high did look upon us, To give light to those sitting in darkness and shadow of death, To guide our feet to a way of peace”. John prepared the way for the coming of Yehovah God in the person of Yehoshua or Jesus of Nazareth, fully man and fully God. Jesus is the heir of Abraham’s promise of overcoming victory, and David’s promise of the crown and throne of victory and his dominion of the kingdom of God that will never end.

The coming of John was predicted by Isaiah the prophet hundreds of years before John was born. It says regarding John in Isaiah 40:3-5 “The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Yehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Yehovah has spoken it”. During the reign of Tiberius Caesar, the word of Yehovah God came to John in the wilderness who began preaching a baptism into repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The word baptise is from the Greek baptizein which meant to immerse or dip into water. It says in Malachi 4:4-5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse”. John came in the power and Holy Spirit of Elijah the prophet to turn the simply superior hearts of the fathers to the sons, the marvellous me hearts of the sons to the fathers and the rebellious to the wisdom of the righteous, so that by living humbly freed from simply superior pride in kindness and mercy would prevent the land from being stuck with a curse. John preached repentance because God was willing to forgive to have a restored Father-Son relationship with the people that he loves. John taught people to repent from trusting in the works of darkness and instead to believe in the One who was to come. This was to bring people back under the umbrella or corporate covenant-covering of Abraham’s blessing. This in turn would prepare people to encounter the real Jesus and experience the true salvation of the undeniable power of resurrection life. The people thought that John may have been the promised Messiah, the Son of David. John said in Matthew 3:10-12 “And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the storehouse; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire”. John’s baptism was for purpose. John specifically mentions bringing forth good fruit. Jesus taught that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. This is because the life of the father dwells within the heart of the seed or son to bring forth fruit after the father’s kind. In Hebrew the word holy means literally that which follows the threshing. The wheat was set apart as holy in the storehouse, but the chaff was blown away or burnt. John said that the Coming One gather the holy sons of God into his storehouse but would burn the chaff with unquenchable fire. Regarding the chaff, it says in Psalm 1:1-6 “Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scoffers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” As people walk through life they breathe, and as they breathe, they speak and accomplish words. The collection of their words or works as they habitually walk on the pathway of life are their ways, and the totality of their words and ways (or character, behaviour, and accomplishments) and everything else about them constitutes their name. The Psalmist mentions the way of the ungodly, the way of the marvellous Cain, the way of the scoffers will perish. They do not live under the umbrella of God’s blessing; their way is to mock the Bible, mock Creation, mock the flood, mock any thought of moral accountability to anyone except themselves. In the pride of their fallen pride poisoned simply superior great I am hearts the scoffers are scornful towards those who follow Jesus. Unless they repent, one day they will become like chaff that the wind drives away. The winnowing fork is in His hand! The chaff is the husk, those without the seed of the Son of God dwelling in their hearts. If they do not come to Jesus to have life, they are the chaff that will burn with unquenchable fire. The fires that are not quenched and the worms that never die are the raging and hateful evils of rejection and resentment that dwell within the rebellious and unrepentant hearts of the scoffing living dead forever.

Jesus came from Galilee to John in the wilderness to be baptised by John in the river Jordan. Jesus’ name in Hebrew is Yeshua (meaning literally I AM the salvation of your overcoming victory). John initially refused to baptise Jesus because he knew that Jesus was the Lamb of God in whom there was no sin. Jesus said to John in Matthew 3:15 “Allow it to be so now: for thus it becomes us to fulfil all righteousness”. Jesus wanted to be baptised because he was taking upon himself, as the Son of Adam or man, the prideful simply superior marvellous me nature of Cain and the identity of the whole of fallen humanity. Just after John baptised Jesus in water, God baptised or anointed Jesus as the Son of David with the Holy Spirit and fire. This was the same saving anointing of overcoming victory of covenant promises that king David received, except that this anointing was without limit. It says in Matthew 3:16 “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” According to the established religion of church tradition, Jesus’ baptism was a Trinitarian epiphany; that the voice from heaven was the voice of the first person of the Trinity and eternal Father, Jesus was the second person of the Trinity the eternal Son, and the Spirit of God that descended from heaven was the third person of the Trinity, the eternal Spirit. Those that were culturally Greek created the Trinity in the image of the pagan deities that were part of their essentially heathen demon-worshipping culture. The Trinty is a three-part invention, a product of syncretism, a mixing together of gods from different cultures, ages, people groups and traditions. Such mixing is a recipe for disaster. The following was penned in the mid eighteenth century by Jonathan Edwards, one of the world’s leading philosophical theologians of his day “And this I suppose to be that blessed Trinity that we read of in the Holy Scriptures: The Father is the Deity subsisting in the prime, un-originated and most absolute manner, or the Deity in its direct existence. The Son is the Deity generated by God’s understanding or having an idea of Himself and subsisting in that idea. The Holy Spirit is the Deity subsisting in act, or the Divine essence flowing out and breathed forth in God’s Infinite love to and delight in Himself. And I believe the whole Divine essence does truly and distinctly subsist both in the Divine idea and Divine love, and that each of them are properly distinct Persons”. According to Edwards, the Father is deity existing in the absolute sense of the word, the Son is generated by God having an idea or thinking about loving himself and existing in that idea, and the Holy Spirit flows or breathes out of God’s infinite self-love and delight in himself. According to established tradition, these three, divine essence (the Father), divine idea (the Son), and divine act (the Spirit) are properly three distinct persons. Edwards’ teaching is generally accepted as the most attractive and convincing ontological proof as to the existence of the Trinity within the realms of established church tradition. Such logical conceptual philosophical theoretical theological religious reasoning is sheer fantasy, a syncretic mixing of beliefs from different ages, people groups and traditions. The Hindus believe in the god Brahma, the father, and his two sons, his son Shiva the destroyer and his son Vishnu the sustainer. This godhead is called the Trimurti, the trinity of supreme Hindu divinity. Abraham’s pagan forefathers worshipped the same triad of gods with different names, Anu, the bull god, and his two sons, Enki the god of the waters, and Enlil the destroyer or storm god, three in or as one. In Babylon, liliths were demon spirits, Enlil was the chief demon, the devil or lord of demons. These pagan gods were worshipped as one triad or triangle. A triangle is a flattened pyramid. The ancient Egyptians worshipped the god Osiris, the goddess Isis and their son Horus, the sun god. Another triad. Paul said in 1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”. The Greeks and Romans as the divorcees of religious deception mixed just a little from the Bible into their own religious culture by giving heed to seducing evil spirits. Like the mixing of rat poison with good food, this syncretic mixing sweetened the lies of the doctrines of devils and made the poison easier to swallow. The Trinity is the culturally Greek conceptual god of established church religion, the god of the head. The Father is the culturally Hebrew God of relationship, the God of the heart. Why? Because in the Bible the life of the father dwells within the heart of the seed or son to bring forth fruit after the father’s kind. God is interested in hearts not heads, behaviour not conceptual beliefs, fruit not fantasy faith. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 10 that it is with the heart that people believe with and are made righteous, not the head. God is the judge who searches the hearts, tries the reins and gives to each man according to what he has done, not the church establishment. The Israelites did the same syncretic mixing of demon gods from different cultures and traditions. The Book of Exodus describes how God judged the demon gods of Egypt with plagues. Following the Passover, with a pillar of cloud during the day, and a pillar of fire at night, the people were rescued out of Egypt and followed God to the promised land. Moses was called by God up Mount Sinai, and whilst he was away, the people turned away from God. It says in Exodus 32:3-5 “And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, tomorrow is a feast to the Lord”. This is a classic example of syncretism. Aaron made a golden calf idol, and the people worshipped this idol and claimed that this demon god had saved them out of Egypt. Aaron himself said that there would be a feast to the Yehovah God the next day, but the licentious feast was not the kind that was sanctioned by the true God. Such idolatrous worship was a direct result of syncretism, the mixing together of gods from different cultures, ages, people groups and traditions. In the ancient world, the people with prideful fallen hearts were subjected to the secret power of lawlessness that came from the evil side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. These people had created fallen gods in their own fallen image. Things that were fallen were garbage, trash, things that belonged in the rubbish dump. They believed that Creation was ruled by these gods and that these gods were essentially evil like they were. So, they did evil things in the hope that these evil gods would bless them but curse their enemies. Why is this important? There is only one truth, but many lies. Because the syncretic mixing of beliefs from different people groups, ages, cultures and traditions, the god of established church tradition is simply a shadow of his former self, a concept, an idea, a notion, something man-made. Such a conceptual god and a conceptual notion of being saved from hell after people are dead is no threat to the kingdom of darkness whatsoever. While leaders of the church establishment are busy debating the finer points of the latest book on hand-me-down systematic theology, the devil is left to go about his business of lying, killing, stealing and destroying with no-one within the established religion of hand-me-down church tradition to stop him. Some things will never change.

It says in Isaiah 61:1-2 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord”. When Jesus was baptised, Jesus as Yehovah God anointed Jesus as the Son of David with the Holy Spirit and fire. The Holy Spirit is not a different person to God. The Holy Spirit is God. Jesus identified himself with fallen humanity and he took upon himself responsibility for the murderous not marvellous sins of the world. That is why it says in Isaiah 53:4-6 “Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all”. Jesus (Yeshua) knew that sickness, griefs, sorrow, heartache, brokenness and misery all came from the original sin in the Garden of Eden. All like sheep had gone astray, each to his or her own sinful rebellious simply superior marvellous me way. In his great love, the Lord laid all that iniquity on Jesus, and Jesus healed them all. How? He was wounded not only for, but by our transgressions and bruised by our iniquities. The innocent and precious blood of Yeshua that the marvellous me people of Israel shed became the very means of their forgiveness, and the very wounds that they inflicted upon Yeshua became the very means for their healing. That is why Isaiah said regarding the coming of Jesus that “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together”. In Matthew 15:21-28 there is an incident where Jesus delivered a Canaanite woman’s daughter from a demon. Jesus was in the region of Tyre and Sidon, and the Canaanite woman came begging Jesus to save her daughter from a demon spirit. This Canaanite woman was not an Israelite and was not in covenant with God and did not live under the umbrella of Abraham’s blessing. Initially Jesus did not reply, but at his disciples request he responded by saying that he had only been sent to the lost sheep of Israel and that it was not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs. The Canaanite woman replied to Jesus saying that even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table. Jesus responded by saying that the woman had great faith; such faith was an expression of the amazing grace of God’s Holy Spirit that inspired faith within her. Her daughter was healed from that very hour. According to the church establishment, the bread of God is Bible study. Bible study is good, but it is not the bread of God. The children’s real bread was described in Acts 10:38 where it says that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him”. This is the children’s bread, and Jesus prayed “give us today our daily bread”. That is the miracles, signs and wonders of the living word of God. This is what the real Jesus was anointed to do. John was imprisoned by Herod Antipas for accusing Herod of adultery. While he was in prison, he heard about what Jesus was doing. He sent disciples to Jesus to ask if Jesus was the One that was to come, the One of course is the name of God. Jesus replied in Matthew 11:4-6 “Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended by me”. Because the people had repented from their sins and believed in Jesus, they had humbly come under the umbrella of Abraham’s covenant-covering that God had made with Abraham. The real Jesus was then able to impart to them the true salvation or victory of the kingdom that had been promised by God to Abraham and king David centuries before. That is why the blind received their sight, the lame walked, the lepers were cleansed, and the dead were raised. It says in John 1:17 “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”. It was John’s baptism, a baptism into repentance for the forgiveness of sins that brought the people out from under the curse of the law and back under the corporate covenant-covering or umbrella of Abraham’s blessing so that they could receive the healing and deliverance that the real Jesus or Yeshua as the Anointed One was so willing to give. He still is, and such amazing grace brings God great glory; it reveals who he really is and how much he cares about the people he loves.

So why John the Baptist? God wants a Father-Son relationship with the people that he created, but because of the Fall, people’s sins and their prideful fallen hearts separate them from God. God had given the people of Israel the law of Moses which promised great blessing for those who kept the law but also curse for those who did not. Because of the Fall, no-one except Jesus was able to keep the law. As such, the law was only able to restrain sin, it was not able to bring blessing. The law was only able to forgive those who transgressed by accident. For those who wilfully transgressed the law, there was no forgiveness. Yehovah God sent John to bring a baptism into repentance for the forgiveness of sins, to prepare the way for the coming of a Father-Son relationship with God. This is that which was lost at the Fall. John’s father, Zechariah, praised God because God was fulfilling the blood-covenant kingdom promises that he had made to the fathers Abraham and David. To Abraham, God promised that “Your son shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in your son shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice” and to David “I will set up your son after you, which shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son”. These promises included being saved out of the oppressive hand of all enemies and to be enabled to serve God in holiness and righteousness all the days of their lives. How? When the innocent and precious blood of Jesus on the hands guilty of his crucifixion is applied to their prideful sinning judgmental simply superior marvellous me hearts, their hearts became humbled, broken, contrite, cut or pierced and ready to receive the gift of God’s Holy Spirit poured out on the Day of Pentecost. This brings them under the fulfilment of the corporate covenant-covering or blood-covered umbrella of the sovereign grace or unmerited and unearned favour of the blessing of Abraham. For those that live humbly under the blood covenant-covering of Abraham’s umbrella, these promises included the ability to move in kingdom power by trampling upon snakes and scorpions and overcoming all the power of the enemy. Through the power of Jesus’ blood, this includes freedom from the simply superior marvellous me prideful nature of Cain, sickness, Satan, disease and ultimately death. It is vital for people’s hearts to understand that the work of the real Jesus is framed within the culture of the ancient Hebrews, and it is the fulfilment of God’s covenant promises to both Abraham and David that included being given the gift or fullness of the Holy Spirit. These things have nothing whatsoever to do with the culturally Greek religious jigsaw Jesus invented by church councils and the religion of hand-me-down church tradition which has lots of fine sounding scriptural sentences and Biblical sounding prayers but no power whatsoever to overcome anything and has no inheritance within the kingdom of God. The jigsaw Jesus of the church establishment never does anything; he is just a concept, a figment of the fantasy faith of the fairy story of tradition. That’s why in so many churches, miracles never happen, and nothing ever changes; they are waiting to die before they are saved and live happily ever after in heaven in the Father’s house. This is a fairy story.

So, what about you? Someone once sang; he’s as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see. Leaders of the institutional religious establishment called church have chosen to be blind. They only see what they want to see. And what do they see? Only what established church religious hand-me-down orthodox tradition has told them they are allowed to see. Nothing of God that they see is real, it is of man, and they are going nowhere. They don’t listen to God, they are not allowed to, and they don’t know what they are missing. God is love, he is loving through and through. Everything God does is motivated by his love. God knows that we live in a fallen world, and in his great love, God made great and precious promises of kingdom victory to both Abraham and David. What God did for those amazing men of God, God wants to do for you. The fact that God did amazing things for others means that God is willing do those things for you. When God makes promises he intends to keep them, and he will keep them for those who humbly come under the umbrella of Abraham’s Pentecostal blessing by keeping the conditions required for their fulfilment. What do God’s amazing promises of kingdom victory mean to you? Have you been freed from the religious shackles of established church tradition, a tradition that claims to live in victory but in reality, is wallowing in defeat? Do you know and understand, and have you received the amazing blood covenant promises of kingdom victory that God made to both Abraham and David? Have you received the same victorious anointing that Abraham, David, and Jesus (Yeshua) as the Son of Abraham and Son of David received? Those amazing promises and that same anointing of kingdom victory is for you! Nothing depends on you. It is all about being redeemed from the natural prideful simply superior sinning marvellous me nature of Cain and then being brought under the umbrella of the corporate blood-covenant covering or anointing of Yeshua the Messiah. It is all about him. Light is his character, his light in you, his forgiveness for you, his victory for you, his deliverance for you, his true salvation for you, his blood changing you, he is your champion, he is your victory, he is your strength, your song and your all in all. Don’t let the devil, working through the blind guides of the orthodox hypocrisy of the religion of established church tradition rob you of victory. They are pretending to be victorious but in reality, they are like lemmings, prime-time losers. Don’t follow them and their jigsaw Jesus. Follow the real Jesus; walk through life with the real Jesus in the true overcoming victory of his undeniable power of resurrection life.

Prayer: Dear Father, your word states that under the law of Moses there was no forgiveness for deliberate sins. Thank you that you, in your great mercy, sent John the Baptist to baptise people into repentance for the forgiveness of all their sins. This brought them back under the corporate covenant-covering of the umbrella of Abraham’s blood-borne blessing so you could heal them and set them free when you came in the person of Jesus. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, by an act of sovereign grace, please grant me repentance. Please lead me into a heartfelt knowledge of the truth that will set me free from the natural simply superior sinning marvellous me nature of Cain and bring me under the umbrella of the same victorious anointing of Holy Spirit power that was poured out on the Day of Pentecost. Then I will be truly saved from pride, sinning, sickness, Satan and ultimately death by being inspired by the anointing of your Holy Spirit to live in the undeniable power of resurrection life, just like you do, in the person of Jesus.
